Macy frowned when she saw Andrew standing outside her apartment unit with his back against the door. She doesn't know what else happened. It seems Macy can almost guess all the emotions expressed by the writer. And if the man has behaved like this, she can confirm that he is in trouble.

Then Macy walked over to the man.

"Andrew..."

Hearing the voice of the woman he was waiting for; Andrew smiled faintly and opened his eyes.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi," Macy greeted back. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm waiting for you."

Macy's brow furrowed. She exhaled. "Since when have you been standing here?"

"A few minutes." They both knew that it was a lie. "And our other neighbors just looked at me like I was a freak."

"Because you were standing outside my apartment unit. Honestly, Andrew. What are you doing?"

The man straightened up. Then he walked towards his own unit and entered his unit's door code and pulled Macy in. Macy almost screamed because he was too fast and the pull was so sudden and unexpected. And when she was about to protest against Andrew's actions, the writer suddenly hugged her so tightly.

Her eyes widened. The man hugged her right in the foyer of his apartment. Very tightly.

"A-Andrew..."

Andrew buried his face in the crook of her neck. "I missed you," he whispered softly.

Macy didn't say anything. She didn't even know what to do? Pushing the man or hugging him back.

"W-did something happen?"

"Does something have to happen if I miss you?"

"No, no. I mean..."

Andrew chuckled. Then he let go of the hug and looked at Macy. "You're cute."

Then the man took off his shoes and walked in. Macy remain silent in the foyer. Oh, she can't believe that Andrew calls him cute. She snorted then took off her shoes as well and followed the man who was already in the kitchen.

"I'm not..." she was about to protest again when she was surprised by Andrew who was preparing dinner.

The writer smiled at her. He brought two plates of baked salmon with vegetables and gravy sauce. "Sit down."

"Are you waiting for me for dinner?"

Andrew put two plates in each place. He gestured for Macy to immediately sit in one of the chairs that had been provided. Macy sighed and obeyed the man's wish. She took a chair opposite the writer.

She put her bag on the floor near her chair. Then she noticed Andrew who was pouring wine into the two glasses provided.

"How was your day?" asked Andrew at the start of their conversation as he sat down. "I hope you don't run into any problems because you missed work yesterday."

Macy just shrugged. "St. Haven is not an educational institution where if an employee does not come to work for a day, he will be reprimanded. Besides, it seems that the editorial team understands the reason why I didn't come."

"Oh," the man smiled. "That's good. I'm glad that-"

"But the risk is, my work is piling up even more," she said quickly.
