Andrew ignores David. Well, it's not something that makes the agent surprised. With what happened yesterday, of course the writer would ignore him all day. Although actually he was a little surprised when he saw Andrew coming to the studio. And all day, the man was just busy with his laptop.
David took a deep breath and looked at his cousin intently. Today he got a call from the hospital asking about the form he bought yesterday. The nurse who contacted him also added that the doctor asked the family to make a decision immediately. But he knows can't push Andrew.
He just told him all the things he'd been hiding for the past twelve years. Andrew is not the type of person who can easily and immediately accept and forgive something or someone.
And if he urges Andrew to make a decision, what he's afraid of is that the man will be repulsive.
So far, Andrew's outward appearance looks calm, but emotionally, the writer is very unpredictable. Maybe because of Nina's death. But David never got a complete explanation of how Andrew's emotional state was.
"Andrew.... Do you want to go back to Chicago?" asked David.
Andrew who continued to type spontaneously gasped. He lifted his head and looked at his cousin for the first time today. He didn't show any expression. Not even the look in his eyes showed anger or anything else. His facial expression remains flat.
"I can ask St. Haven to rearrange some schedules. After all, your official schedule for promotions is still a week away. You can go back to Chicago," David said quietly. "That's it if you want to."
Andrew did not respond to anything. He turned his attention back to his laptop and resumed typing. As if he didn't hear what David just said.
David sighed again. He walked over to the man's desk. "Andrew..."
Andrew then closed his laptop with a little force. He put the laptop in his backpack, along with his cell phone. After closing the backpack, he grabbed the car keys and left the studio.
But David stopped him. "Andrew, don't be like this. I know you're still mad at me. I'm sorry and-"
"Telling me to go back to Chicago won't change anything, David," Andrew said coldly.
David knows that. But he only thought that if the man came home and met his adoptive mother, then he would be able to understand what David had been doing all this time. After all, this is also the idea of his adopted mother.
Andrew slightly pushed David, then walked away. This time, the agent didn't stop him.
