The results of the police investigation into Katy's case came out after three days. Jared, who read the copy of the report, couldn't help but take a deep breath. The woman has officially become a suspect and the police will immediately complete the investigation of the case so that she immediately goes to the prosecutor's office. And to be honest, it wasn't a surprise. For him or the entire staff of St. Haven.

But the public's reaction is certainly different, especially for readers of Ken's novels.

Since the results of that investigation were released to the public, three hours ago, St. Haven got hundreds of calls and thousands of emails asking for the news. This reaction was even twice as large as the one when St. Haven when announced that they would publish Writer Coangco's novel. Moreover, the names of Macy and Ken are also listed in the investigation report.

And the worst is yet to come. The police have yet to release the results of the investigation into the case of obsessive fan of Writer Coangco, who turns out to be also related to Katy. If the report was released to the public, somehow St. Haven will overcome the backlash on the news. And regarding the investigation report, it looks like St. Haven should immediately release an official statement on the report.

"Sir..."

The director flinched and looked at his secretary who was standing by the door.

"The other board members are already in the meeting room."

Jared nodded and left the room. But when he was in front of his secretary, he paused. "Ah... today Editor Cruz will likely be discharged from the hospital. Take care of the administrative documents and payments."

"Okay, ma'am."

Jared smiled faintly and walked towards the meeting room.

Ken sighed in frustration. Since morning, the phone in his studio has been ringing non-stop. Several studio staff tried to answer some questions, but it seemed like the calls wouldn't stop. Even since then, his email continues to receive hundreds of incoming messages without stopping.

However, he ignored it. For now, until St. Haven issued an official statement.

Before his studio phone was flooded with calls and emails, Jared called him and told him not to make any statements until St. Haven issued the official statement first. Well, to avoid a bigger backlash, he followed the director's words and gave instructions to his staff.

But it's been half an hour, and he is getting annoyed by the sound of the phone ringing. Even two hours earlier, he had turned off his cell phone. Even though he knew some of his friends, family and relatives would try to contact him as well, Ken would activate his cell phone when things calmed down. He only hopes that his parents will not accept the same thing as what he is experiencing right now.

And especially his son, Marcus.

Ken took a deep breath. He remembered his son. He doesn't know how he reacted when he found out about this problem. Two days ago, Hani texted him.

The lawyer said that she had informed and explained to the boy about Macy's condition at the hospital, but did not tell that Katy was the culprit.

Well, he is a little relieved. He doesn't know what to say if he had to explain it himself to Marcus. But the results of this police investigation report are different. The boy didn't know anything, but he would be affected too.

Ken grabbed his car keys and handbag and left the room. He walked to his staff desk and unplugged the phone. All the staff who were busy receiving the phone were shocked and looked at the writer.
