Andrew took a deep breath.

He stood in the doorway of his unit while staring at Macy's unit door with his arms folded in front of his chest. It's almost eight o'clock, but the editor isn't back yet – out of nowhere. He can't even reach her phone. The messages sent by him were not answered either.

"Where are you, Macy?" he muttered quietly.

Then he took his cell phone out of his jeans pocket. Maybe he could ask someone close enough to his lover. He pressed someone's contact and then waited until he heard a dial tone.

"Yes?"

"Send the lawyer number given by Macy to take care of the previous' obsessive fan problem. Lawyer Kim."

There was a sigh from the other end of the phone.

"I sent a message. But why did you ask for the number?"

"There's something I want to ask. Thank you, Dave." And the phone line is disconnected.

Before long, a message containing the lawyer's contact number came in. He immediately dials the number. Macy doesn't seem to have many close friends apart from the lawyer and her St. Haven colleagues. Hell, even Katy who used to be one of her best friends could stab her hard in the back.

"Lawyer Hani Kim..."

Andrew leaned against the door. "Lawyer Kim, this is Andrew Coangco. I want to ask if you are with Macy right now?"

"Macy? No, I'm not with her at the moment. Today I just met her at the courthouse. We did talk, but not for long. Why are you looking for her?"

He sighed. If Macy didn't go to see the lawyer, then where did that woman go? He massaged his forehead hard. "She's not home yet. I've tried to call her but she's not picking up. After the trial, Editor Gil says that she hasn't returned to St. Havens."

"I did not know about that. But when we were talking, Macy said that she would talk to Ken."

Andrew's brow furrowed. "Ken? I had met him at St. Haven. But he didn't say anything either."

"Oh, shit! Alright, I'll try to find it. If she comes back, please let me know right away, okay?"

Before he could respond, Hani had already hung up. And because of the woman's last tone, he is now even more worried. It seemed impossible for the lawyer to swear like that if the situation wasn't alarming. Maybe Macy had disappeared without news like this before.

Fuck!

He wanted to go find Macy. But he didn't know where she often visited. The only hope is for Macy to come home soon or any news from lawyer Kim.

He looked back at Macy's unit before going inside and closing the door. He put his phone on the coffee table and went to the kitchen to get a can of beer. He almost finished it in one gulp.

Where are you, Macy?

Ken opened the door and frowned. In front of him now stands Hani Kim breathlessly. The woman didn't even call him first and said that she would come to his apartment. He doesn't mean to be rude; Ken is a little uncomfortable if he has guests who always come out of the blue.

"What is it?" Ken asked.

Hani glanced inside his apartment unit. "Where's Marcus?"
