Hani took a deep breath. She waits for the Detective outside the interrogation room. After Macy and Andrew took Marcus away, she prepared to go to the police station. She will meet Katy for the first time after the woman is named a suspect.
Although the Detective actually wanted Macy to also come to provide further information, Hani said that the woman's condition had not fully recovered after being discharged from the hospital. For that, the Detective is quite understanding.
Honestly, she doesn't know what to say to Katy. Even if she could, she didn't want to see the woman's face. Without caring if she is Macy's lawyer. After all, when the trial comes, the presence of the public prosecutor is enough to imprison the woman. And she hoped that it would be for a long time.
Before long, the door opened. The Detective pokes his head slightly. "You can see her now."
The lawyer straightened up and walked into the room. She could see Katy sitting in the middle of the room in handcuffs. She walked in as she tried to control her emotions. Katy was too good at manipulation, so she had to be careful on how she would react to whatever the woman would say. She walked to the table and pulled out a chair before sitting down. The Detective leaves the room and closes the door slowly.
The interrogation room felt so gloomy, dark, and cold. Especially with Katy's current expression, Hani felt goosebumps on her back. Heck, she had never seen the woman's emotions and expressions so psychotic.
"Hello, Hani. Long time no see," said Katy quietly.
"And I hope we'll never meet again," Hani countered.
Katy smiled. She then leaned back on the chair. Her gaze did not leave the lawyer. "How's Macy doing?"
Hani imitated Katy. Leaning her back on the chair, plus she crossed her legs. She maintained her neutral expression. She won't be influenced by Katy easily. "Why? Do you want to hurt her again?"
The woman smirked. "Well, that's not my main goal. I just want to remind her, who will always be by her side. Not that man. Not even Ken."
"By strangling her until she runs out of breath?"
Katy shrugged. "She's not dead, is she?"
Shit, Hani almost lost her temper at the woman's words. The ladder that was on her lap was clenched so tightly. But she will not give up so easily. She is a reliable lawyer who has handled many cases. Katy isn't the worst. So, she would be able to survive this one.
"Macy is not that weak," the lawyer said calmly.
"Of course. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have weaknesses. And everyone who knows her, knows exactly what Macy Cruz's weakness is. I'm sure Andrew Coangco can find out easily, even though they just know each other."
Fuck! Katy started to change her conversation tactics. It was probably her fault. The woman would easily deflect all of Hani's arguments about Macy. And now Marcus was involved in this conversation.
"What are your plans, Katy?"

David smiled slightly when he saw Andrew who was walking holding Marcus' hand a few meters in front of him and Macy who was walking hand in hand.
Last night, his cousin contacted him and explained about the plan for today's picnic with Macy and Marcus. Although he actually felt a little skeptical because they had to appear in public, especially after the police released the results of the Macy case investigation, he also felt this was a good thing.
