Andrew entered Macy's apartment door code. He slowly opened the door and seemed to be able to smell his lover's signature scent. Shit. He stood outside for a few minutes before David signaled him to come in.
He remembered that Macy will send some clothes and toys to Marcus at Hani's house. But because Macy had to be rushed to the hospital, he thought that Hani wouldn't have time to pick up Marcus' clothes and toys either. So, he took the initiative to prepare it and probably contacted the lawyer to ask for her home address.
"Andrew..."
He took a deep breath and walked in. Followed by David. They took off their shoes in the foyer and walked in.
"Where's Marcus' room?" the agent asked him.
Andrew looked towards the corridor to the left of the hallway. "Last room."
David nodded and walked towards the room. And while he went to the boy's room to prepare some things, Andrew was still standing in the living room. Heck, the apartment feels so cold. Maybe because lately, Macy is rarely at home. Either because of work or because she had to stay in the hospital.
And this time, he doesn't know how long the woman has to be in the hospital.
Then he walked to his lover's room. He opened the room slowly and stared at the empty bed.
The bed where last night he lay with his girlfriend.
Andrew then walked closer to the bed. He sat on Macy's side of the bed. He touched the white pillow. Feeling the cool sensation. The writer took a deep breath and then slowly lay down. He could smell the shampoo that the woman used on the pillow.
"We only met a few hours ago, but why do I miss you so much?"

Fifteen minutes later, David had finished preparing a small suitcase – which he found on top of Marcus' wardrobe – filled with Marcus' clothes, toys and some books. Although actually he wasn't sure that the boy would need that much. He closed the bedroom door and carried the suitcase into the living room.
But when passing Macy's room, he saw his cousin who was curled up on Macy's bed. He took a deep breath and put the suitcase in the living room, near the sofa, before returning to Macy's room.
"Andrew..." he said softly as he walked into Macy's room.
But the author did not give any answer. He walked closer and he realized that the man was asleep instead. He let out a short breath. It seems he has never seen Andrew's attitude like this. Even before the anniversary of Nina's death, his cousin has never been so gloomy.
Macy and Andrew, both of them haven't known each other for long, but seem to have left an affection deep enough to make the man act like this.
Then he pulled the blanket from the other side of the bed over the man's body. He gently stroked the writer's black hair, then as he walked out of the room, David messaged Hani to send her home address.

Ken looked at Macy's figure from behind the large window of the ICU room.
After almost an hour and a half in the ER and undergoing several examinations, several nurses finally took the woman to the ICU. The doctor gave a little explanation about Macy's condition. Her throat swelled and slightly injured her vocal cords. For that they put a cervical collar and breathing apparatus.
The doctor also confirmed that Macy's vocal cords would heal in a matter of weeks, although at first she would feel pain when speaking, swallowing or even breathing.
Jared had asked if Macy's vocal cords would affect her voice later. The doctor couldn't answer because he needed to do further tests. After the woman's throat condition recovered and Macy tried to talk. Even so, they need to worry about Macy's psychological condition in the future. The worst-case scenario was that Macy would be mute due to the mental stress caused by today's events.
Ken took a deep breath. He then turned his head when he heard Jared's voice. Along with the director, there were several people besides the doctor, who handled Macy in the ER. And accompanied by another doctor, the two people entered the ICU, while Jared approached Ken. The Doctor then pulls the curtain to close the window so Ken doesn't know what they're going to do to Macy.
Ken looked at Jared. "Who are they?" he asked.
"Doctor Tony and Doctor Steven. They will do a visa on Macy. For further reports to the police station," said Jared.
Ken was silent for a while. "Hani?"
Jared nodded. "This will be an additional report that will incriminate Katy after what she did to Macy before. And for you..." The man took a deep breath.
"Go to the police station. If you still care about Macy, then help her to bring down Katy. After what you've been hiding from Macy all this time, then this is the right time to fix the situation. And you don't have to be afraid of Katy, the police-"
"Katy will take me down with her. She will say that I am her accomplice," Ken interrupted quickly.
"But haven't you been her accomplice all along? It doesn't matter if your motive is to protect Macy, but look at the end. Macy who always ends up getting hurt or in the hospital," said Jared.
"What you are doing is not protecting Macy, but protecting yourself. And you know, not only Macy got hurt but your son too. So go to the police station and do the right thing. For the last time."
