Macy is vaguely aware of Andrew busy banging at his laptop all morning but she did not pry. Instead, she sat before the tv munching a bag of chocolate chips contentedly watching a soap opera. On the other hand, Marcus is so engrossed in the new Lego toy he got from his dad, Andrew, and he never gets his eyes off the toy since then.
Above the noise of the tv and their son's small squeals as he slowly makes the Lego, she heard an occasional chuckle or a small yelp of cheer from the man behind her.
The ending music of the drama came on and she sat up to stretch languidly. A nap is in order, she decides but she is too lazy to move from where she is now.
'Maybe I can get my husband to carry me to bed...' Macy contemplated seriously.
"Love, would you like to come over here for a minute? I have something to show you." Andrew spoke up. She struggles to her feet and plodded to where the man is seated hunched over his laptop.
"What is it?" she asks curiously as her eyes grew bigger at what's on the small screen.
"Let's go online shopping!" her husband cheered. "You don't have to get out of our house, love."
Macy felt utterly moved. "That's why you have been busy all morning?"
"Yep!" Andrew grinned as a roll of measuring tape appeared miraculously in his hand. "First, let's get you measured up!"
The man did a great job taking her measurements. And when they came to the tummy area, they both dissolved into an uncontrollable giggle as Andrew attempted to measure her waistline.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so fat!" Macy exclaimed as she laughed but earned a disapproving look at her son.
"Mommy, you're not fat! You are beautiful. You are just big because you are carrying my baby brother." The eight-year-old boy stated before he focused his attention back to his Lego and the husband and wife didn't know if the boy just complimented or teased his mom.
The ease and the volume of choices available made it very difficult to stop surfing and they ended up with a ton of new clothes for a very exultant Macy and many matching ones for Andrew.
"Oh, love, look!" she cried pointing at something on the screen.
It is a set of four pearl sapphire blue shirts, plain except for the words printed on each: Daddy, Mommy, Eldest, and Youngest.
"Let's get them too!" Andrew agreed happily as he clicked his mouse to add the set to their cart.
Macy giggles happily as she envisions themselves in those shirts strolling in the park.
After Andrew made all the payments dutifully like a good husband should, Macy realized that she is peckish in a huge way.
"Love, our baby and I are starving..." she pouts cutely, her puppy eyes power is on full force.
Andrew swears that his knees turned into jelly by just looking at how cute his babies are.
He chuckled, "What would my babies want for today?"
"Hmmm..." Macy places a finger on her lips as she hums thoughtfully. "I want a club sandwich, cucumbers, and ham and cheese. Oh, the baby wants bacon and fried egg on toast."
"I want what my baby brother wanted too, daddy!" Marcus shouted which made the couple laugh. The boy is consistent on eating what his baby brother wants.
