David followed Hani to the parking area where their car was parked next to each other. He can see like a black aura emanating from the lawyer's body to describe the woman's current emotions. And he is sure that Hani won't let Katy off the hook so easily, even if she ends up in jail, the lawyer will probably make sure that it's for long enough that Katy can't touch Macy anymore.

Forever.

Even though David doesn't know the woman very well, Hani's protective attitude towards Macy is clearly visible. Protective attitude as a friend, maybe even she already considers Macy more than a friend, like an older sister to her younger sibling.

"You're going back to the hospital?" Hani asked.

David looked up. "Huh? O-Oh... Yes, I'm going to the hospital to bring Andrew lunch."

Hani nodded. "Tell Macy that I will tell her son about her current condition."

"Are you sure?" the agent asked quietly.

"I have to do it. After listening to Ken, it would be unfair if Marcus didn't know about his mother's condition. He might be a kid, but that boy was smart enough to understand his parents' situation. I think Macy also doesn't want to always try to lie to her son. There have been too many lies," said Hani implicitly.

David can really understand her intentions. He had even been in Ken's position. When he tried to lie to Andrew about his late biological mother for more than ten years. In the end, the lie only made his cousin more hurt, even the process made them fight.

That situation may not be the same as the situation of the three people involved. But if Macy found out that Ken and Katy had lied and tried to manipulate her, he doesn't know what reaction the editor would have. And Marcus was no exception. Because even if it's an adult matter, his interests will always be involved.

"I understand. I will tell her that you would tell Marcus about her condition. But what about Macy herself? She also needs to know about Ken and Katy, right?"

Hani sighed. "You can tell her a little. I'm sure she is also curious about this investigation. But let me explain it in detail. Maybe in a few days after her condition started to recover. Doctors are still worried about the trauma side that will be experienced by Macy, right? I just wanted to avoid this as a trigger for the trauma."

David nodded again. "Okay, I understand."

The lawyer smiled faintly at him. "Thank you. Oh, and regarding the coffee case, you take it easy. I will make sure that you will also be properly recompensed."

Macy opened her eyes slowly. She doesn't know how long she fell asleep after taking the medicine this morning. Besides realizing that the sun was already so high, she also didn't see Andrew by her side. She slowly got up from her sleeping position and checked the entire room

but there was still no Andrew.

Macy only saw the man's cell phone that was stored on the coffee table.

Well, at least that calmed her down a bit. Andrew won't just leave his phone. She then lay back down and stared at the ceiling in her hospital room.

Recently, she has been in the hospital too often.

Macy took a deep breath. Simultaneously the door opened. She slightly turned and saw the figure of David who came with several bags filled with food.

"Oh, hey. You're awake," the agent said as he put the bag on the coffee table. "Where's Andrew?" he asked again.

Oh, she really wanted to answer but her voice didn't come out. David turned to look at the editor and remembered that Macy couldn't speak at all.

"Shit, I'm sorry. Uhm... do they keep some kind of book or notes and pens?" said David who was trying to find the wardrobe and nightstand drawers. But he found nothing.

He then took out his cellphone and gave it to Macy. "You can write here. Maybe Andrew will bring some notes and pens later."

Macy took the phone and wrote in the note's application.

'I do not know. When I woke up, he was not here anymore.'

David nodded slightly after reading it. "Well, he might be out for a while. At the very least, I'm still looking at his phone."

Macy just nodded and returned the phone to the man.

"Have you had lunch? It's about time the nurse brought you lunch, right?"

She shook her head.

"Ah... coincidentally Andrew is not here. I want to tell you something. This is related to Katy's investigation and regarding your son," David started.

Macy looked at the man closely. From the look in her eyes, David could see that the woman was inviting him to talk. He glanced at the door. He just wanted to make sure that Andrew wouldn't suddenly enter the moment he started talking.

"Okay, let me start with Marcus first. Lawyer Kim said that she would tell Marcus about your current condition. She reasons that he can't always be lied to, even if the reasons are good. She would probably explain carefully. Lawyer Kim thinks that you need to know that too," said David.

Macy smiled and nodded. A sign that she could understand Hani's point. She also did not want to lie to her son continuously. Even though she didn't really want Marcus to see her condition like this. Then she asked David to talk again. Regarding Katy's investigation this time.

But the agent doesn't look so comfortable. Because this is a personal matter to Macy and David is just a stranger to Macy. But Hani said that he could give some brief information so he will do it.

"Err... regarding that investigation, Katy actually liked you for a long time. And this is still just an assumption, all her actions so far are to keep you away from the people who are close to you. In this case it is your ex-husband, Ken and now, Andrew. Well, that's actually just my assumption. Because the Detective hasn't said anything or given an official statement regarding the results of the investigation," said David cautiously.

He also noticed how Macy's expression and emotions changed. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary. But he was still worried. Then he added quickly.

"Lawyer Kim will explain the details of the investigation to you in a few days. I'm just telling... Macy, are you okay?"

Macy took a shaky breath and nodded. Then she pulled the man's hand to write something on his palm.

'Please find Andrew.'

David watched her carefully. "I'll look for him, but I'm not sure if I can leave you alone."

'I'm fine.'

"Okay. I will call the nurse to accompany you while I look for Andrew. Okay?"

Macy smiled and nodded.
