The Detective reads the final report for the Katy Perez case before Monday being delivered to the prosecutor's office. Although there is still some incomplete information, at least they can ensnare the woman for fifteen years in prison for the attempted murder of Macy Cruz and the case of obsessive fan of Andrew Coangco. As for the two accomplices, they will receive the same demands.

Lawyer Hani Kim will ensure that the three people will languish in prison for a long time.

"Are you okay?" asks the junior Detective from his desk. It had been almost fifteen minutes since he was watching his co-worker.

The senior Detective sighs, he saves the final report and looks at his junior Detective. "I'm fine. At least the case is almost over, right?"

The junior Detective nods. "But this is not our best case."

"Katy... there are so many mysterious sides that cover the woman," the senior detective admitted.

"I've never even seen a villain with such an aura," his junior agreed.

He stares at his coworker for a long time. Yes, Katy is not the typical criminal they often meet. The woman was too smart; smart in speech, good at controlling their emotions and even good at manipulating the emotions of others. He doesn't know what the woman's past was.

They did not find any light on her past. Even when they tried to investigate her old university and school, not much was known about the woman. Including her family.

The results of his junior Detective's investigation into the civil registry office to find information on Katy, also ended in a dead end. All of her information was only on files from twenty-five years ago. Even if she changed her name, there wasn't a single record of the woman's old name.

It was as if Katy had removed all evidence of her past long before her actions were exposed. It's like a plan she's been planning for a long time.

The Detective leans back in his chair and takes a deep breath. Oh, he needs alcohol after this tricky case. At least he needed some time to relax before the next case.

"Hey man, do you want a drink?"

David glanced at Andrew's iPad which was on the coffee table. Heck, after almost an hour, that iPad finally met its end. While in the middle of the game, suddenly the iPad screen turns off and can't be turned back on. At first, he thought that the battery had run out, but when it was charged there was no change at all.

He knows exactly about his 'minus hand'. But he thought it would be fine. After all, it was mostly Marcus who often plays on the iPad compared to him. It's just that, when it was his turn to play...

Oh, he's not supposed to touch that iPad again.

He glanced at Andrew who was sitting on the other side of the sofa and focused on his cell phone. The man's expression did not show any anger at all. In fact, it seems that he has been waiting for when the iPad will die. But he still feels guilty. He had already damaged two of the man's laptops and one iPad before.

Besides, the agent was alone in the living room with his cousin. Because Macy was putting Marcus to sleep in the boy's room. Oh, the boy himself looks guilty too. He even repeatedly apologized to Andrew until his eyes looked watery. However, the child did not cry. Well, David might be the one to cry in the end.

But Andrew assured Marcus that it wasn't his fault. Likewise, with Macy. The lovers even seemed to have prepared an excuse if the iPad suddenly died while they were playing. Heck, David thinks that the two of them are already so close to being parents to Marcus.

David glanced at Andrew again. "Hey, Andrew..."

The man mumbled softly. He didn't take his focus off the phone. David wondered what his cousin was actually doing right now.

"About the iPad..."

Finally, Andrew lowered his phone and looked at him intently. At a glance, he looked at the dead iPad. "Do you still feel guilty?"

"Of course!" the agent exclaimed.

The writer chuckled at his reaction. "Then order a new iPad for me. Make sure it is the newest model, okay?"

David sighed. Of course, he will replace the man's iPad. Just like he did on the previous two laptops. "Even if I order it now, you might only be able to get it five months later."

"That's okay. You can buy it when we get back to Seattle."

"Fine. But what have you been doing with your phone since earlier?"

And Andrew returned to focus on his cellphone. "I'm asking Addy to prepare another ticket."

This time, he frowned. "Another ticket?"

But then he thought again, 'then what about Marcus?'

Soon, Macy returned to the living room after Marcus fell asleep. She had a passport book in her hand. David noticed the woman who approached his cousin. And he immediately had an assumption that popped into his head. Andrew smiled when Macy handed him the passport. It made sense to the agent now.

"The ticket is for Marcus," he commented.

"Of course," Andrew confirmed his hypothesis. "Do you really think that Macy will let Marcus stay here in Manila, while his mom and dad will go on a vacation to Seattle?"

One of David's eyebrows rose. His mom and dad?

Well, he just thought that it was only a matter of time until Andrew proposed to Macy.
