(157): Valentine's Day (Fred)

Happy Valentine's Day!
Even though it's not Valentine's Day (for me, anyway). Here's a Fred x Reader ^-^

"___, do you know what today is?" Fred asks.

"Um, February fifteenth?" You ask.

"Correct! Do you know what that means?"

"Um, no?"

"Come on, ___! I thought I taught you better than that!" Fred sighs. "Valentine's Day was yesterday, which means. . . what?"

You pause. "Can't you just tell me? It'll save us both a lot of time."

"It means that today all of the Valentine's Day candy is on clearance! Cheap candy, ___! It's the time to celebrate!"

You laugh. "That is something to celebrate."

"Exactly! It's one of the best days of the year!" Fred exclaims. "Let's go to a store and buy out all of their candy!"

You sigh. "I thought today was going to be a lazy day, Freddie."

Fred leans forward and glares at you. "Candy, ___. Candy."

You smile. "Alright, let's go."

"Yes!" Fred leaps into the air. "Nothing is better than cheap candy! Except for free candy."

As soon as you and Fred walk into the drugstore that's just downtown, he grabs your hand and sprints to the Valentine's Day aisle. He grabs a handful of chocolate bars and a few bags of (favorite candy). He throws them in your arms. "Here," He says. "You hold 'em. I'm buying."

Fred drags you around the entire store until you finally say, "Fred, I don't think I can hold anymore."

"That's okay. I think we've got just about everything, anyways. Let's pay for this and head back."

Back at Fred's place, he sets out a pile of candy in the middle of his bedroom floor. He divides the pile in half. The two of you lean against the side of the couch and eat candy. You notice a shining red wrapper sticking out of the grocery bag. You nod towards it. "What's that?"

Fred leans forward and grabs it. He sits back down and holds it out to you. "For you," He says, his mouth full of chocolate.

You take the chocolate rose from him. "You bought this for me?"

Fred swallows and nods.

"That's so sweet," You say. "Thank you so much, Fred."

"I told you that the day after Valentine's Day is one of the best days of the year. It's the best time to confess your love to the girl you have a crush on."

You're silent for a minute. "W-Wait. Me?"

Fred nods. "I have for a while now. I figured that the best way to your heart was to buy you a mountain of candy."

You laugh. "You know me too well, Fred. But you'd already won my heart."

"I had?"

"Yeah," You say.

"Man, that could've saved me a lot of money," Fred says, looking at the piles of candy.

You laugh again. "Aw, Freddie. I love the candy. And I love you." You lean in and kiss him.

When you pull away, he says, "Well, good. I love you, too. And I also love this pile of candy, so let's make ourselves sick eating it."

"Sounds great."

The two of you dig into the pile. "Happy Late Valentine's Day, ___," Fred says with a mouthful of candy.

"Happy Late Valentine's Day, Freddie."
