(128): Taken (Part One)

Hiro x Reader requested by TheOverExcitedFangirl. I decided to divide this into two parts cause I'm short on time, but I figured that you've waited too long to wait another day. ^-^ This is a little short, sorry. Enjoy!

"We've got him this time, ___. I promise you that!" You watch as Hiro, your best friend and crush, scrambles up Baymax's back. The fight between the heroes and Yokai has been carrying on for far longer than you'd originally thought.

"Let me help you, Hiro. Please." You weren't exactly a hero. You want to be. Hiro just wouldn't allow it. Too dangerous, apparently.

You knew his answer already. "No way, ___. Too dangerous."

"Hiro, please! I could help!" You say. Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go, and Fred have already left.

"I know you could. But I can't let you."

You groan. "Why not?"

"Because," He grumbles.

"Because why?"

"Because I can't lose you, okay?" He shouts. You're taken back a bit. That's new. "I'm sorry. But I can't lose you."

"Okay," You whisper. "I understand."

Hiro smiles a little. "Good. Stay here. I'll be back. I promise."

You nod. Baymax flies off, leaving you alone. It took you three seconds to decide that you were going to ignore Hiro's order of staying where you are. They needed you. Couldn't they always use one more hero?

"Circle back, Go Go!" Hiro shouts orders. Go Go listens to Hiro's command immediately. "Fred! Wasabi! Help Honey! Go Go and I've got this!"

"You sure?" Wasabi shouts back, uncertainty in his voice. He readies his lasers to help Honey Lemon out of the cage of microbots that surrounds her.

"Um. . . yes. Totally," Hiro replies, even though he isn't really sure.

Go Go races off towards the platform of microbots that carry Yokai swiftly through the abandoned city streets. Hiro and Baymax fly after him. "Ready your rocket fist, buddy."

Baymax listens. "And. . . sho--" Suddenly, in a wave of microbots, Yokai dives to the left. He raises up in the air and charges through the streets, where Hiro faintly hears a voice.

"Hiro!" It says. "Hiro!"

He realizes that it's you seconds later. "___!" He chases after Yokai, whom, he realizes, is chasing after you. "___, run!"

You run from your place in front of Lucky Cat Cafe. Yokai gains speed and scoops you up in his arms. You thrash around.

"Hiro!" You scream.

"___!" Baymax hovers ahead of Yokai. "Baymax, shoot!"

"That could cause bodily harm, or even death," Baymax says. He lowers his fist.

"Let her go, Yokai!"

Yokai laughs and waves his hand. A huge wave of microbots push Hiro and Baymax towards the earth.

"Hiro!" You scream. Yokai starts off. You are held helplessly in his arms, hoping and praying that Baymax has or had the opportunity to protect Hiro.
