It was a normal Friday night, and Cass invited you to stay the night with Hiro. The two of you sat on the couch, a bowl of popcorn in the space between you. Hiro wanted to watch a horror movie, which you were totally okay with. It was supposedly the scariest movie ever, and it really lived up to that.
In just the first five minutes, there were several jump scares that left you dropping popcorn on the floor. You hope Hiro doesn't notice your jumpiness, but he does. He glances at you as something jumps out on the film and you squeal.
He laughs, dropping his head in his hands. You glare at him and throw a piece of popcorn at his head. "Don't laugh at me. It's not funny."
"It is, though," He says, sitting up.
"No. It's not."
"Yes. It is." You cross your arms and look away. "___, c'mon. You're adorable."
"I'm wha-" You start, but Hiro silences you by pressing his lips to yours.
He pulls away. "Adorable."
You smile and grab a fistful of his hoodie, guide his lips to yours.
