"Happy Valentine's Day!" Honey Lemon squeals as she skips into her lab. You smile and look up from your work.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Honey Lemon."
"Have any plans for today, ___?"
"Um, not really. I'll probably go home before long and watch Netflix by myself."
Honey Lemon gasps. "That's not fun!"
"Um, yes it is," You insist.
"Okay, okay, whatever. Well--" She tosses you a box of conversation hearts and sets a red heart cut out of construction paper on your desk. "These are for being a wonderful friend and amazingly brilliant lab partner."
"Aw, thanks, Honey Lemon!" You open the box of conversation hearts. "Here, let's share." You pour half the box into Honey Lemon's hands. "You can come watch Netflix with me, if you want."
"Alright. Sounds fun. I'll bring sugar cookie mix and pink frosting so we can make cookies! How does that sound?"
You sigh. There goes your day of only watching movies. "Okay. It does sound fun."
"Yay!" Honey Lemon grabs your arm. "This is going to be so exciting! But first, I think we should cut out a bunch of hearts and give one to all of our friends! Tadashi and Hiro, Freddie, Wasabi, Go Go, Baymax, Professor Callaghan, Aunt Cass! And Mochi, of course."
You sigh again. "That'll take forever, Honey Lemon. I wanted to watch Netflix."
Her face falls. "Oh. Okay."
You fill with regret. "On second thought. . . being festive for once does sound fun."
She smiles. "Really?"
"Yeah. Come on. We should go get extra glitter for Wasabi's valentine," You say, thinking of how annoyed he'd be.
Honey Lemon claps. "That's the spirit! I'm so happy that you're festive! Go Go never is. It's nice to have a friend who actually wants to celebrate."
"Maybe we should make Go Go extra Valentine's Day cards, huh?"
"Another great idea! Let's get started!"
