Part two~

(Unedited).

"But why would Callaghan come here just to take her?" Tadashi asks as he runs out of the house and into the garage. He grabs a helmet and tosses it to Hiro.

"To use her as bait," Hiro guesses.

Tadashi hands him his phone. "Call the gang. We've got to find her."

-

"But where would he go with her?" Honey Lemon asks, her wide eyes filling with concern. The gang was gathered in Fred's bedroom, trying to think through what has happened.

Go Go shakes her head. Wasabi sighs. "Look, we've got nothing, Tadashi. No leads, no clues. All we know is your sister is gone and Callaghan has more microbots. So what do we do?"

Tadashi continues to pace. Hiro is leaning against the wall, tapping his foot. He feels absolutely restless. "Okay, I don't know what you guys are thinking, exactly," Hiro starts. He grabs his helmet and puts it on, "But I have to go find my sister."

Tadashi grabs his brother's arm. "Hiro, you know that I want to find her as much as you do, but we really don't know where he could be." Hiro bites his lip and states out the window, blinking the tears out of his eyes. He didn't want to cry, but the thought of his best friend, his twin sister, getting hurt was too much to deal with. Hiro wipes his eyes and something catches his eye in the window. A helicopter flying towards the San Fransokyo bridge. Red and blue police lights, huge spotlights, and cars are surrounding the entire thing.

"Guys," Hiro says. "I think I know where they are."

The team immediately jumps into action. Hiro scrambles up his brother's red-armored back. Tadashi takes off into the air. Fred super jumps onto the buildings and follows closely behind. Honey, Go Go, and Wasabi stay on the ground but follow.

Tadashi soon spots Callaghan at the top of the bridge. He is surrounded by helicopters in the air and police cars on the road. Tadashi raises a rocket fist.

"No!" Hiro shouts, "You'll hit ___!"

Tadashi slams to a stop. Tadashi's eyes widen when he sees you behind Yokai. "Callaghan!" He shouts, "Let go of my sister and you won't get hurt!"

"But I'll be sent right back to prison, huh?" He sneers. He laughs. "I know how this works. You ruined my entire future. Your little sister means a lot to you, doesn't she? I might as well ruin your future, too."

"'Dashi!" You cry out in fear.

"It's too late, Tadashi Hamada," Callaghan says. Tadashi's heart drops as you're pushed off.

"No!" Suddenly, Tadashi is brought back to the time when you were three. It was right after your parents' funeral. You didn't understand much, but you kept crying and screaming. You were terrified. You were far too young to lose your parents. Tadashi was only eight. He scooped you up in his skinny arms and you dropped your head in his shoulder.

"Shh, shh, ___," He said, hugging you tightly against him. "I know you miss Mama and Daddy, but they're not here anymore. I'm here instead. I promise that I won't ever let you be scared again." He kissed your forehead and dried your tears until he was sure that you felt better.

And now here you were, screaming in terror as you fall towards the cold, dark water.

"Get ___!" Hiro screams. Hiro leaps off of Tadashi and tackles Yokai. The two of them tumble off of the bridge and towards the road, but Tadashi still flies towards you. Honey Lemon types out a formula on her purse and dispenses a light green ball. She tosses it in the ground and it creates a soft, thick landing. Hiro and Callaghan both land safely on it. The team surrounds Callaghan, keeping him on the ground until the cops take him away.

Meanwhile, Tadashi is using all of the speed he has to get to you. He's staring at your face, filled with so much fear, and he wills himself to go faster. Come on, Tadashi. Come on.

"I promise that I won't ever let you be scared again."

With that thought echoing clearly in his mind, Tadashi dips down and his arms encircle you. He flys up, sighing with relief when your arms grab onto the red armor of his shoulders. He lands on the pavement and kneels down. He lowers you until you're sitting on the pavement, and he checks over you.

"Are you alright?" He asks frantically.

You don't answer his question. Instead, you throw your arms around his neck and hug him close. You let out a sob before saying, "I'm so sorry, Tadashi! I was wrong, you have every right to be protective. You need to act like Dad, and I'm so thankful for it. You're the best big brother ever, and I love you. I love you so much, 'Dashi. I'm sorry!"

"It's okay," he says softly, his heart warming at your rush of words. "I love you, too."

Tadashi pulls away when he hears Hiro say, "___!"

Hiro drops on the ground next to you and hugs you. You hug him back. "Hiro," you say, burying your face in his neck. "I'm sorry, too. I love you."

"Don't be sorry," Hiro says. "I love you."

You pull away and smile up at your brothers. "Thank you for saving me."

"Hey, we're your brothers," Tadashi says, "It's our job."

You throw your arms around both of them and grin, happy to finally feel safe with your two best friends.
