(293): First Day of Fall (Fred)

I lied to you guys. I promised that I would post part two of Broken Promises, but it's the first day of fall and that calls for a celebration.

Today my mom bought pumpkin flavored everything and I'm stoked.

I added cute stuff at the end because I love Fred okay.

"Go Go?" Wasabi asks, a panic rising in his voice.

"What?" She asks as she drugs a can full of broken wheels and tossed bicycles towards the doors.

"Did you touch my tools without permission again?"

Go Go smirks. "Yeah. They're on my desk. Don't panic, Wasabi. They're in this building."

"I have a system!" He screams. "And my system as rules!"

"Okay, it's no-"

"Hey, everybody!" A voice calls out from the entrance. Everyone turns to see you and Fred, you holding a stack of plastic containers and Fred tugging on the handle of a red wagon. "Guess what today is?"

"Wednesday," Go Go answers.

Fred holds a finger up. "Yes. . . but that's not all."

He gestures to you and nods in approval as you say, "It's the first day of fall!"

"And we are gifting all of you with pumpkin flavored cookies and a mini pumpkin." He starts taking the pumpkins out of the wagon and handing them to each of his friends. You place a tub of cookies on each of their desks.

"Did you make these, ___?" Honey Lemon asks sweetly.

"Fred helped," you say, smiling over at your fiance.

Wasabi opens the lid and opens his mouth to take a bite. He stops as your words register. "I hope he washed his hands before he made all of these," Wasabi says, dropping the cookie back into the container.

Fred sighs and rolls his eyes. "Of course he did," you assure him, handing the last container to Hiro. You walk back to Fred, who smiles and wraps an arm around you. "I always keep him in check."

"Oh, and I'm throwing a party on Saturday. You're all invited, of course."

"Why do you guys go all out every year?" Hiro asks in annoyance.

"Because they're young and in love," Honey Lemon says, smiling down lovingly at you as Fred kisses the top of your head.

"And also because fall is awesome," Fred adds. You giggle and reach up to kiss him. He kisses you and then laces his fingers through yours. "Come on, ___! Let's go make you a crown out of those fake leaves we bought yesterday!"

"Okay!" You wave at your friends. "Bye, guys! Oh, hand out all the extra pumpkins, okay?"

As soon as the doors shut behind you, Hiro walks back to his lab. Wasabi shakes his head. "Yeah, they're weird."

"Fred, I don't think that's right," you tell him. You're sitting down beside him, trying to help instruct him as he weaves the stems of the leaves. You take a sip of the pumpkin spice latte that he had just bought you and lean your head against the trunk of the cherry blossom tree. The pink flowers were falling off of their stems and landing around you, creating a beautiful covering on the browning grass.

"No, it's right," he says, twisting two leaves together. "See? Here." He places the crown on your head and you giggle as it slides down over your forehead.

"It's a little too big," you comment, adjusting the crown on your head. "But I love it. Thank you." You reach up and kiss him on the lips. Fred slides his hand up from your waist and to your shoulder. He gives you a tight hug.

"I can't wait to marry you," he says.

You look up and smile. Your wedding is in a year still, but you don't want to wait. "Then let's just get married sooner than planned."

"Really?" He asks. "I thought you wanted a huge wedding. I was more than happy to wait and be sure that everything was perfect. I'd get the moon for you if you would ask me."

"You're too sweet," You say, pressing your lips against his. When you pull away, you lay your head on his chest. "We should get married soon. Just wing the whole wedding. I want to get married while it's fall, since we both love it."

"If that's what you want," He says.

"It's what you want, right?" you ask.

"Freddie loves the idea! Yeah, but I just want to spend the rest of my life with you." He takes the crown off of your head. "And I also want to fix this. And I want another pumpkin spice coffee."

"Well, we'd better get busy and cross some of those things off of the list, huh?"

"Wait, are we getting married right now?" Fred asks as you stand up.

"No!" You say with a laugh. "We're getting another coffee. Come on. We'll get married before fall is over. Promise." You pull him I'm for another kiss.

// short & kind of lame but the season finale of Big Brother 17 is on (if you watch that show, awesome!) and I'm sad but angry because Vanessa will probably win. I'm rooting for my favorite nerd, Steve, to win.
