Sorry that my updating hasn't been frequent. I've been feeling down on myself for a month now, and I can't seem to feel better. I just want a break from everything but that obviously isn't going to happen.

Here's part 3 - I'm actually very surprised that I have so many requests for this to continue, but I'm happy to write this for as long as you'd guys like!

Note -- I put numbers at the end of each baby name to show which baby it is.

-
It's a quiet Sunday morning. Hiro stretches as he opens his sleepy eyes to the bright bedroom. With a light sigh, he stretches his hand out to find your warmth. Instead, his fingers slide across a cold bedsheet.

He sits up and looks around. "___?" It's only seven-thirty, and he's usually up before you. Shrugging, he kicks himself out of the blankets and swings his legs over the side of the bed. Before he can stand up, the bedroom door opens. You step in, humming softly as you rock the baby in your arms.

"Oh hey, sweetie," you greet softly. "You're up."

"Yeah," he says, stretching. "Why are you up so early?"

"She was fussy all morning," you explain. "I think she's teething."

"I'll make a run to the store and buy her some medicine," Hiro says. He stands up and walks over to you, planting a kiss on your temple. He looks down at his daughter, (Name 3), who is just eight months old. "She looks more like you every day."

"She has your eyes," you reply.

"Yeah, but look at her. She's beautiful."

"I love you," you say.

"And I love you," he breathes, leaning in to kiss you. Just before his lips touch yours, your other two kids, to little boys, run into the bedroom.

"Mama, Daddy, (Name 1) took my robot!"

"Did not!" (Name 1) snaps.

"Yes, you did!" (Name 2) replies, stretching to reach his older brother's hands as he holds up the toy.

"Boys," you warn with a sigh.

Hiro sighs and snatches the robot away from his four year old son. "Knock it off," he warns. "(Name 1), you know that the blue robot is your brother's."

"But I wanted to play with it!"

Hiro kneels down in front of his kids. "(Name 1), you're a big boy now. You have to be mature. You can't take toys from your brother, okay? You're the oldest; you've gotta set an example for them."

"Like Uncle 'Dashi?" (Name 1) asks softly.

Hiro smiles. "Yeah, like Uncle 'Dashi. You know, (Name 1), when I was your age, I didn't have a mom and dad like you did. I had Aunt Cass and Tadashi. Tadashi did his best to raise me, and I still didn't listen to him. I know that you're little, but one day Mom and I won't be here, and we need you to take care of your little brother and sister." You hold your hand out, placing it on Hiro's shoulder. His hand meets yours; he gives your fingers a gentle squeeze before continuing. "Can you promise me that you'll be good to them?"

(Name 1) nods. "Yes, Daddy."

"Good," he says. "I knew you were a superhero." He leans down and kisses his son's forehead before pulling both of them into his arms and standing up. "You two are going to be the best superheroes ever!"

"And we can protect you and Mommy!" (Name 1) exclaims.

"Yeah, you can protect us," you say. "But first we'd better go get breakfast, huh?" You turn to Hiro. "I'll go make eggs and bacon."

"No, you've been up for a while. I'll go make it. You should rest." Hiro takes (Name 3) from you and kisses your forehead.

"Are you sure?" you question.

"Positive," he assures you. "I'll make her a bottle and put her in her swing. I'll even come and get you when the food is ready."

"You're the best," you sigh.

"I've heard that once or twice." He laughs and kisses you again. "Alright, boys, come on."

Once they all walk out, you collapse onto the bed. With a relieved sigh, you shut your eyes and begin to fully relax. It feels different and completely strange since you haven't had this in four years. Not that you're complaining; being a mom was the best thing to ever happen to you. It was always a bit rough at times - diaper changes, messes everywhere, crying and screaming and no personal time at all - but you loved each day. After each giggle, each cuddle, each "I love you," and each little one, you were happy.

Without even meaning to, you doze off. You curl up into a tight ball and immediately fall under.

Some time later, Hiro opens the bedroom door. "___, breakfast is ready-" he stops. Smiling, he walks over to the bedside and drapes a blanket over you. "Get some sleep, my love." He kisses your head and caresses your hair. You wake up a bit, but keep your eyes closed. As he shuts the door, he says, "I love you, sweetie."

"I love you, too," you breathe.
