You're relaxing on the bean bag chair in your boyfriend's room. He's laying across his bed, a book in his hands. You toss a small bouncy ball that you found on Hiro's desk off of the wooden floor. It's been quiet for a long time, and you're starting to get bored. The ball slips out of your fingers and rolls across the floor. It disappears underneath Hiro's desk. You groan and stretch; pushing your legs out and reaching your arms above your head.

"'Dashi," you whine, "I'm bored."

"I'm reading, sweetheart," he replies calmly.

You groan again. "Then why did you invite me over in the first place?"

"Because I like your company." He flashes a smile that warms your heart. "Honey, if you're so bored, why don't you go play video games with Hiro downstairs?"

Your smile falters. He's that willing to just get rid of you? "Nah, he doesn't want me to ruin his time." You fall back into the chair and look around at your surroundings. On top of Hiro's desk sits a comic. You reach up and grab it before nestling back down into the chair. You flip open the cover and look at the intro page. Fred Lee is written at the corner. Hiro probably borrows Fred's comics every now and then.

You start reading the comic. You've never tried actually reading a comic, so you're not sure if you'll even like it enough.

It's the typical story; boy is too nerdy to get the girl, boy gets bitten by radioactive creature, boy is suddenly noticeable, girl falls for boy, boy saves girl from her demise, defeats the villain, and lives on as a normal guy with a special-secret identity.

As you're nearing the end of the comic, you suddenly shiver. The bean bag is annoyingly near a window that is cracked open. You'd shut it, but Tadashi likes to have an open window to cool the room at night. You bite your lip and look around for a loose blanket or something. For once, Hiro's bed is neatly made.

"Tadashi?"

"Hm?" he hums.

"Do you have something I can wear over my t-shirt? I'm freezing," you say.

"Help yourself," he offers, gesturing to the closet at the end of his room.

You slide open the wooden door and look at the array of clothes. A couple of SFIT t-shirts, sweater vests, and cardigans after cardigans. You slide each hanger to the next side of the closet. Cardigan. Cardigan. Not a sweatshirt in sight. You laugh.

Tadashi peeks up from his book. "What's so funny, ___?"

"Nothing," you reply with a giggle.

"Something's obviously humoring you."

You pull out your favorite; a baby blue cardigan. "'Dashi, you must have a cardigan of every single color." You look back at your boyfriend and shoot him a smile.

"Ha, ha," he says dryly. "You're hilarious. Just get one and leave my clothes alone."

You giggle and pull the cardigan off of the hanger. The soft fabric feels welcoming against your cold hands. You quickly pull it on, smirking when you see how big it is on you. You begin to warm up automatically. "Hey, 'Dashi," you say cheerfully.

"What is it now, my love?" he asks with slight annoyance to his voice.

"Do you think this cardigan is my color?" you ask. Tadashi glances up. You smile as his eyes widen. "Well, do you?"

"U-Um-"

You laugh. "Now you're paying attention to me."

Tadashi drops his book and reaches around to rub the back of his neck. "Well, you're actually very cute in that."

"Is that surprising or something?"

Tadashi rolls his eyes. "No. You're always beautiful." He stands up and walks over to you. His finger goes underneath your chin, tilting your head up so he can have access to your lips. You throw your arms around his neck; pulling him close to you. You're smiling as his lips mash against yours gently, his other hand holding your cheek. His thumb strokes your face lightly. When he pulls back, he offers you a crinkly-eyed smile. "You should wear my cardigans more often. They suit you."

"Thanks, sweetie." You give him one more peck on the lips. You quickly pull back and step away.

Tadashi blinks in confusion as you start towards the staircase. "W-Where are you going?"

"I'm gonna take your suggestion and go play video games with Hiro."

"N-No, you don't have to-"

"No, I should," you interrupt slyly. "You have a book to read, anyways."

"Is this your way of searching for an apology?" Tadashi sighs and follows you. "I'm sorry that I ignored you, I just really like that book-" He stops and rubs his face. "I am not making this better."

You giggle and stop. "I'm just kidding, 'Dashi."

He lets out a breath of relief. "Thank goodness. I was afraid that you were actually mad."

You shake your head and walk back to him. Your arms encircle his neck once again. "You know that I can't be mad at you. But I can make fun of your insane cardigan collection as punishment."

Tadashi groans. "Are you ever going to let that go? I like cardigans, okay! They're comfortable and simple."

"Oh, I can tell that you like them," you continue. "I mean, it's pretty obvious when you have at least a dozen in the closet."

"That's it!" Tadashi's hands attack your sides.

"No, wait! Stop!" The tears prick your eyes as he tickles your sides quickly. You squeal and laugh, shoving him away and running towards the steps. Before your foot touches the top step, his arms encircle your waist. He lifts you up and spins you around in fast circles. "Ah, Tadashi! Stop - I'm getting dizzy!"

"Do you surrender?" he asks, his voice shaking with laughter.

"Never," you mutter.

"Suit yourself," he replies with a shrug. He spins you around again. The room whirls around in a blur of color.

"Okay, okay!" you shout. "I surrender! I'm sorry!"

Tadashi chuckles as he stops and sets you down. "That's more like it." The room is still spinning as you try to stand up straight on your feet. You stumble backwards. "Whoa-" Before you can fall into the desk, Tadashi's arms go around you once again. This time, he holds you against his chest.

"Thanks," you breathe.

Tadashi's lips land on yours once again. He kisses you gently and passionately, trying to make up for making you dizzy. He pulls away and smiles at you. "Like I said, you should really start wearing my cardigans more often."
