Friendly reminder that this is my story & I don't appreciate anyone sending me messages or comments with "helpful tips" such as what I should change my title to or how I should've written the plot or what you think should be changed to fit your ideas. If you want to change something, then write it yourself. I'm not changing it because you want me to. It doesn't feel helpful to me, it feels hurtful, like my writing isn't good enough or something.

Another friendly reminder that I love you guys anyways ♡♡♡

Here's a simple Hiro x Reader that I wrote a while back. I'll try to get some requests in soon, as well as part three of Do Something, but I'm not feeling it right now.

Hiro Hamada has been your boyfriend since you were eight. Of course, being in a relationship when you're eight is more like an extended friendship: always sharing gummy bears, playing videogames together, never leaving each other's side. His hand was always in yours from the beginning; even before you two were "dating".

Gradually, as both you and Hiro grew to be awkward fourteen year olds, your relationship grew. You hadn't had a real kiss with him; pecks on the lips when you're both nine and huddled up in a pillow fort don't count. You never did much except for hold hands. He never said, 'I love you', but you two were young. It would happen in time.

But soon enough, Hiro was almost sixteen. He was in his third year in college, and he was very, very popular in the school. All of the girls - in the high school, of course - swooned over him. He would wait outside of San Fransokyo High for you every afternoon, and everytime you walked out of the building, groups of girls were surrounding him. What made it worse? He sucked up all of the attention happily.

But there was one thing he did that made all of that become unimportant. When you would break through the crowd enough to reach him, his eyes would light up. He would reach for your hand, you would place yours in his, and then he would drag you away from the crowd.

Today, he's walking you down to his place for videogames. It's a chilly afternoon, and you reach for your sweater. Instead of finding the soft jacket wrapped around your waist, your hand wrap around air. "Gah," you mutter.

"What's wrong?" Hiro asks as he takes another bite out of his chocolate bar.

"I left my sweater in my locker." You shiver.

"Aw, I'm sorry, sweetie," he says.

"I'm freezing," you complain. You eye the blue hoodie that he's wearing. He wears it everyday, and you've never gotten to. "Can I wear your jacket?"

"What?" he asks in disbelief. "Ha, no! You should've brought your own!"

You're dumbfounded by how childish he is. "Hiro-"

"If you're so cold, come here," he says, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you close.

You immediately push away. "No."

He looks down at you. "What? ___-"

"No," you say again. He lets go of you, and you automatically turn back to the crosswalk.

You quickly cross the road, while Hiro says, "___?"

"Leave me alone!" you warn. You aren't sure of why exactly this hurts you so badly. Maybe because it's been years of you two, but not exactly you two. He'd flirt with other girls, lately, anyways, and he would never put you first. It was always him, his bot fights, his super hero life.

You ignore his calls and texts. You don't want to talk to him. You've been hurting for so long, and you've finally reached the breaking point of it all. You couldn't face another conversation with him.

However, when there's a knock on your bedroom door and you open it, he's there. You glare at him. "How did you get in here?"

"Your mom let me in," he explains. He offers you a smile, which you don't return. He sighs and hands you his hoodie. "Here."

"Why are you giving me this?" you ask.

"Because you wanted it?" he says, but it sounds more like a question.

"No," you whisper. "What I want is just a little bit of respect."

"What do you mean?" he asks seriously.

"You... you just push me away all of the time. You're always talking to these girls who are so into you. And that's why you do it! You're always flirting with them, you never listen to me, and you still haven't even said 'I love you'. We've been together for years, Hiro, but you're not playing your part in this relationship."

Hiro's lips pull up into a smile. "And you decided this because I didn't give you my jacket? That's a little dramatic, don't you think?"

You shake your head. "This is what I'm talking about. Get out."

"What?" he asks. He reaches for your hand. "___-"

"Get out!" you snap. "I love you, Hiro, but I don't feel like you love me! I'm sick of this! Just go!"

As he walks backwards towards the door, he says, "You love me?"

You cross your arms and look down. Your face is burning with embarrassment. "Yeah. I love you."

"I love you, too," he whispers. "And I'm sorry that I've acted like a jerk. You're right; I shouldn't be flirting with other girls or pretend that you're not the most important person to me. You are, ___. I'm sorry that I couldn't show you that. I hope that you can forgive me for everything I've done, but if you can't, I don't blame you."

You slowly look up at him. He smiles sadly and turns to open the door. You roll your eyes. "Stop being dramatic and just kiss me already."

He turns back. "I'm not being dramatic. I really do-"

You cross the room and throw your arms over his shoulders. With a smirk, you tug him forward until his lips meet yours. He grabs your waist gently and pulls you close. You break away and smile at him. "I love you."

He touches his forehead to your forehead, and brushes his nose against yours. "I love you, too. I promise that I'll try to be better."

"You're already better," you whisper, and you kiss him again.
