Older Hiro x Reader requested by SapphireWolf143 (& also RoseRebel14). Sorry that all of these Hiro x Readers are OLDER Hiro, I just have a hard time writing younger Hiro because I'm nearly 17 and the thought of dating a 14 year old creeps me out just a bit. I promise that the next Hiro x Reader won't be an OLDER one.

On a serious note, most of you have probably heard already of the passing of the screenwriter of Big Hero 6 & Monster's Inc. as well as University, Daniel Gerson. He passed away from brain cancer on the sixth. He was 49. He even provided the voice of the desk sergeant in the film. This is extremely sad news, and I'll be praying for his family and the family of Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Valentine's Day week. The thought of it makes your eyes roll in annoyance. It's just Monday, Valentine's Day being on Friday, and girls are already squealing with delight as they step inside of their labs and find teddy bears and roses on their desks. The paper hearts that have been taped on the doors and walls - probably by Honey Lemon - make you groan. Will you ever get away?

You grab your lanyard that holds the keys to your lab. As you make your way down the hall, someone is heading towards you. You recognize the eighteen year old at once. "Hey, Hiro."

He looks up and grins. "Hey, ___." He abruptly turns his attention back to the notebook in his hands. It's held close to his face and he is slowly scribbling on it, pure determination on his face. You shrug and continue on.

As you approach your door, your eyebrows pull together in confusion. "Didn't I lock that door behind me?" you mutter, reaching for the door. It's cracked open. You probably didn't. You left in a rush yesterday, so it makes sense that you left it unlocked.

Inside, you scan the dark room to make sure that your projects have been left untouched. You're a robotics major, so obviously you worry about the potential grades that could be missing or broken. You're overreacting, you tell yourself. Shaking your head, you take a seat on your office chair, drop your bag down on the edge of your desk and turn to your laptop. Before you open it, something catches your eye.

A folded piece of white paper. It's simple computer paper, and the words are typed. You turn on the lamp before reading:

___,

You don't know who I am, and I'd like to keep it that way. I would die from embarrassment if you knew. I need you to know is that you're so amazing. This is the lamest way to tell you, but I had to.

And that's it. You blink. Who would do this? Who is messing with you? No one has ever expressed any interest in you, ever. That's one reason you don't even like Valentine's Day. Everyone has someone they love and then you're just left behind. It was a pathetic thing to admit your distaste towards the holiday for this reason, but it's true.

You crumple up the paper, but you can't bring yourself to toss it in the trash bin. Instead, you shove it into the bottom of your backpack.

The next day, Hiro invites you over to study for an upcoming Advanced Robotics test. The eighteen year old senior is helping you memorize the correct way to wire each part of a robot, but you're having a hard time concentrating. You can't focus because earlier this morning, you found another note.

___,

I've decided something. I want you to know who I am, and I want you to know how much I truly love you.

It was pretty creepy, all in all. You didn't know this person. Was there someone who was actually infatuated with you, or did you just have an insane stalker?

"Hello," Hiro says, snapping his fingers in your face. "___, you with me?"

You blink quickly. "S-Sorry." You shake your head and clear your throat.

"Everything okay?" he asks seriously.

You nod and smile. "Just lost in thought. Carry on."

He raises his eyebrows. "You're sure you're okay?" Hiro knew everything about you. He knew when you were okay and when you weren't, and he knew how to help you.

"I'm sure," you promise. He smiles and looks back at his textbook. As he begins to read, you begin to think about those notes again.

You didn't receive one on Wednesday. But on Thursday, you receive one.

Meet me by the cherry blossom trees in the back of the Robotics building tomorrow.

Should you meet him? Your stomach was filled with butterflies. This could be a prank, or a weirdo... or maybe it was for real.

A knock on the door makes you jump and drop the piece of paper. "Hey, ___, I've got a question-" You look up and look at Hiro.

"Um, so do I," you say.

He looks up at you and says seriously, "What's up?"

Should you tell him? If you do-

You should.

Weird ending, sorry! I don't have a lot of time to write today. Part two will be up tomorrow - and I promise it'll have lots of fluff.

Also, how awesome is this Wattpad update?! It has me like
