Day 319
Tuesday 11th July 2017 22:47

We've spent a lot of the day planning how we're going to try and get Seth back from The Traders and I think we've come up with some sort of plan, even though, I think, it is a bit far-fetched.

In the morning I took a walk around Dumpville. It was very quiet. There's only about twenty-five of us here now. There's no soldiers and the only kids here are Trudy's twins and baby Amelia. As I walked around the park I could see some of the others whispering about me and talking about me behind my back. They all know I brought Mike and Dump back and it's obvious they're not happy.

I bumped into Deaf Deidre who was sat on a bench on Main Street playing with Ollie. "Now then, Luke," she said, "I heard you were back. Why did you have to go and bring that Ronald back with you? He's a bad sort." "Yeah I know he is," I said, "But things aren't that straight forward." "No I don't need to lean forward," said Deaf Deirdre, "I know all about that Ronald. He's like that evil Nazi. You know, that really famous one." "Adolf," I said. "No, silly," said Deaf Deirdre, "He was a reindeer who pulled Santa's sleigh." "That's Rudolf. I said Adolf," I said, "Will you please just sort your ears out?"  "Get my what out?" asked Deaf Deirdre. "Oh forget it," I said, "Look. I know Ronald is a horrible man. I know he's been feeding us to a load of cannibals." "Cannabis?" said Deaf Deirdre, "He's been feeding cannabis to us? That's a drug isn't it? Has he been drugging us all too? That's disgraceful – and you've brought him back here. Shame on you." "Not cannabis, cannibals," I said, "CANNIBALS! God I wish you could hear properly." "You wish you could what?" asked Deaf Deirdre. "Not me, you!" I loudly said, "YOU!" "What about me?" asked Deaf Deirdre? "Oh forget it, it doesn't matter." "Fatter?" said Deaf Deirdre, "Well you do look a bit podgy. I suppose you could do to lose a stone or two." I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Don't look like that," said Deaf Deirdre, "You'll never lose weight with that attitude." "I don't want to lose weight," I snapped. "You don't want to be late for what?" asked Deaf Deirdre. The deaf old crow was getting on my nerves but before I left I managed to get out of her that her secret gun is still missing. I suspect that this is the weapon that was used to shoot Seth but I'm now wondering where it is and who could have shot him.

TJ's in a right mood with me. I expected him to make some childish joke about Mike peeing on me but he hasn't. He's really p*ssed off. I told him there was no point in him being a strop. "Well what do you expect?" he said, "Not only have you brought my mental big brother back here with you, you've brought my girlfriend's estranged husband too." "What would you have preferred?" I asked him, "Me, Dump and Mike stay shacked up in Paris with Hilary?" "Well no but you didn't have to bring either of them back here," said TJ. "Look," I firmly said, "I'm not going to keep having this conversation with you. I've told you why I had to bring Dump back. I'm not exactly happy about it you know, and as for Mike, you might not feel guilty for sending him away but I do. So if you want to speak to him, speak to him. If you don't want to speak to him, then don't. Just stop sulking." "I don't want Dump or our Mike to ruin what I've got going on with Destiny." "Don't worry," I sarcastically said, "I'm sure Mike, unlike you, is actually more interested in his nephews. He's certainly more interested in them than you are." "The twins?" said TJ, "Trudy won't let him near them." "I think she will," I said, "Like I said, Mike's showing more interest than you are. I think she'd appreciate the help. Did you see Trudy yesterday? She looked rough." "She always looks rough," said TJ. "Not that sort of rough," I said, "She looked stressed, tired, knackered. They're your kids too you know? You should be helping and putting more effort into being a Dad than being a boyfriend to that dumb airhead." "That's my girlfriend you're talking about," said a firm TJ. "Whatever," I said, "Are you just going to ignore the fact that you've got two kids over there being brought up alone, by Trudy, who looks knackered, and getting zero help from you?" "Look," said a blunt TJ, "You brought Dump back here and if he f*cks things up with me and Destiny, I'll be blaming you." TJ walked off. It felt like he was trying to threaten me but I think he needs to take responsibility for his own actions. He's the one shagging a married woman, not me. Anyway, I think he should be more focused on being a Dad to his kids rather than being a boyfriend to some dizzy dumb b*tch like Destiny.
