Ha-I'm driving the way back.
-If I let you. Come let's get inside.
He let's go of his seat and I see he broke half the seat with his aura and the others are bend. As we go inside he keeps fixing his hair and his clothes and when we enter the VIP room the first to greet us is Persephone. We give each other a big hug before I hug Cerberus and his brothers and then at my brother. He also goes to shake hands with Hades and when he looks at him frantically fixing himself.
Josh-Big H, what happened to you? You look shaken up.
Ha-Your could've told me she drives like maniac.
I give Hades a slap on the back of his head.
Ha-Sorry but is the truth.
-You gave me the keys and I asked you if you were sure. I also told you that I drive like a maniac so don't complain now about it.
Josh-Wait, wait, wait. You let her drive here?
Ha-Yes, she scared the aura out of me.
Josh-She scared you?
Josh hides a smile with his hand and he goes sit down at the table. Then we turn to Persephone and he gives a hug to her when they're both lifted up by Cerberus. Persephone laughs and Hades just lectures him.
Ha-Cerberus.
C-Fine.
Persephone pulls me out of the room and to the ladies bathroom for a moment.
Pe-Why were you so late?
-I couldn't decide in what to wear.
Pe-What's up with uncle? He doesn't look like always.
I turn closer to her and speak slowly.
-I drove here and that got Hades scared. He damaged he car with his aura. It was hilarious, you should seen the expression on his face as I speed up.
I laugh and is so contagious that we're both laughing and we're still at it as we go back to the table. By now everyone is seated and they're ordering their food. I look over the waiter's shoulder and see five pages of food already ordered. I put a finger to them to keep quiet and take the notebook from the waiter and I write down what I want and exactly how I want it to be cooked and served and when I finish I draw a smiley face with a skull with hearts by eyes and I give it back to him and take my seat by Hades's side.
Ha-What did you order?
-You'll see.
As we wait for the food to come we start speaking and exchanging stories when I pull Hades close to me.
-Do we tell them now or after we eat?
Ha-Now.
He stands and offers me his hand and I stand by his side. He calls for everyone to pay attention to him and when he's sure everyone is listening he gives them the news.
Ha-Guess who's going to be a parent?
He stands behind me and hugs me putting his hands on my belly.
They all turn surprised or shocked before they smile and the first one to congratulate us is Persephone. She stands from her seat and she hugs me tightly. I see as Hades is bothered by Cerberus and his brothers and I turn to see my brother as he opens his arms for me. I run to him and hug him tightly when I hear a faint sniffle and I turn to try and see him.
-Are you crying?
Josh-Just a bit. Oh, I don't have a baby sister anymore. You're a full grown woman.
He cries a bit more and I feel tears as well and I back up from him.
-Stop crying, if you don't I will cry as well and then I won't be able to stop.
He nods and cleans his face before smiling at me and he crushes me in a big hug again lifting me up.
Josh-I'm so happy for you, when did you knew and when did you told him? How did he reacted when you told him?
Pe-Tell us everything. Oh, I want to know names and what are you going to get him or her. Can I be the babysitter? I love babies, they're so adorable. So cute.
-Easy there, I just told him this morning and I'm still on the first month.
Pe-Sorry. I'm just so excited. I'm getting a little cousin.
She jumps in joy and I laugh a bit.
Pe-Seriously though, do you have a name yet for the baby?
-Angelo if it's a boy and if it's a girl is Hades's choice.
We stay talking and we go back to our seats as the waiters bring the food to the table. I get my food and everyone looks at me surprised by how much I got. Cerberus reaches to take a piece of my food and I squeeze his hand hard.
-My food, don't touch it. Same goes for everyone else and that includes you too Hades. I let go of his hand and go back to eating my food. I get my iPod from my back pocket and I put the headphones on at full volume and put really loud music as I eat. We all eat and when we're finish we order the side dish. I give the three flavor cake a try and is delicious. When we finish that as well we keep talking about work and stuff and when I get bored I start to play games on my phone. After a long while playing I feel something breathing on the back of my neck and when I turn around I see a scary face looming over me and I give a jump backwards as I kick him in the gut. He goes to the floor and when I see who it is I put my hands over my mouth and gasp in horror.
-Is your own fault for scaring me.
He turns to my brother and speaks.
Orthrus-You should've told me she could hit that hard.
Josh-Guess I forgot about it.
Nemean helps Orthrus up and I give him a look.
-Boo.
He reflexively puts his hands up and I laugh at him before I turn away. I turn and I call some of them.
-Hades, Cerberus and Persephone are coming with me. I'm driving.
I get the keys from my pocket and play with them as I go out of the restaurant and I jump into the car's driver seat. They hop in after me and when they're all safe and secure in the car I go forward and I go top speed for a while before I stop in a gas station. I look at Hades and he gets down and fills the tank again. After a couple of minutes he comes back in and fasten his seatbelt.
Ha-There, is ready, go slow.
-You know I won't go slow. I will be at the max speed.
Ha-I thought as much. Persephone, Cerberus, hold very, very tight if you want to keep your lives.
C-That bad.
Ha-That crazy.
Pe-She can't drive that crazy.
-Persephone, take my word for it, hold tight.
She does and when they all give me the go I speed off and they all get scared as their auras are all drawn out. I laugh as I go faster and take sharp turns.
-This is fun, don't you think?
Pe-You're a maniac!
C-I'm going to die.
Ha-I survived. I'm sure you will too.
I look at Hades taking my eyes off of the road.
Ha-The road.
-You're stronger than him. Is the other way around.
He looks at me and then at the road. I hear a horn in the distance.
Ha-The road, pay attention to the road.
I keep looking at him intensely. He goes deeper on his seat. The horn gets closer and they all start screaming at me.
All-The road, the road.
Just when the other vehicle and I are about to hit each other I look and give a sharp turn barely touching. I laugh and I go to see Hades again, now that the danger is no more. He's holding to his seat tightly scared and I look at Persephone and Cerberus and they're holding tightly as well. I laugh and I go faster and their auras awaken but this time they go on the offensive towards me and I call forward my aura as well. I take some sharp turns.
-Hold on. We're going back home.
C-Thank the gods for that.
I laugh out loud and I come to a sudden stop. I get down from the car and close the doors and then I go in the car.
-Anyone wants to drive back home?
C-Another time.
Pe-I don't like driving.
Ha-I won't be able to drive half a minute without a shake.
-Figures.
I go home and I keep the speed a bit low. Fast but low enough so I don't scare them. Their auras retreat and I relax my grip on the wheel and I put the music to the maximum volume.
