I get to the hospital and I ask for Max and Sora. I find that he is being treated right now but she is fine. I go towards her.
S-Sir!
-Do you know anything?
S-No, I woke up here, I was asleep. I'm so sorry.
I calm her down and soothe her for a bit assuring her everything will be fine. They move him to a room but they don't let either of us enter as he's still unconscious. He has a few broken ribs, a broken arm, he has a fracture on the neck and a slight concussion. The doctors are amazed he survived that and the lost of some blood, they find a donor right away to save his life. In mortal terms, that is and they are surprised that she got out of it with only a few scratches. He wakes up late at night, close to after midnight and they let us both pass. He lights up when he sees us. He calls us to him with his finger. We go, he takes her hand and kisses it before he holds it to his heart.
S-I love you too.
-Too?
S-Yes, too. Is kind of something we made up so no one could understand us.
I nod and I turn to him again. He can barely move. Now, how will I get them home. I came on the bike. I think about it for a bit and I turn to a doctor for help. I ask him for three helpers. One drives his, one my bike and the other Max's car or keep them healthy. What I get is somehow better, a truck to transport his very damaged car with some helpers or more accurately workers to help carry the car.
As we go home I lead the way on my bike elfor them. I keep close to them so they don't get lost. When we get there, the scene is so weird that everyone comes out to see what happened. I help them get the car out and here to the garage. It can be fixed but it will take a while. After that I help him out of the car. He is not very fond of being taken care of or feeling weak.
I am punishing him by staying inside all the time. Poor him is on a diet now. I help him inside the house and I take my wallet to pay the staff so they can be back to their own work. They are really more than satisfied with what I pay them. When I go inside Max is resting on the couch everyone looking at him in confused concern. Sora comes in and as soon as she speaks he lights up.
S-Max.
He visibly is better at the sound of her voice. He takes the drink and with a straw he drinks it.

A few weeks later
Max POV
I am with the doctor at home and he's checking my neck to see if is better now and I can go back to my life of activity. He tells me to try and talk and to my surprise I do manage to speak a few words.
Doctor-Now then, don't speak too much yet, just the necessary. Don't make any sudden movements until you're fully recovered and if it hurts take this pills. Is important that you massage your neck daily. It will be for the best and it will recover faster. I'll be back in a few days to check on the progress. Questions?
-Need that still?
Doctor-Not anymore.
-Any diet?
Doctor-Keep eating soft foods, ice cream can be there if you want. No solids, just yogurt, bananas, shakes and such.
I shake hands with the doctor and he goes away. Right now I'm the only one eating different and they dedicate themselves to torture me as they eat all that meat in front of me. This time however Sora eats it too, she has been eating the same as me to make me feel better but she couldn't hold herself to the steak that was offered to her. I finish my yogurt and I keep looking at the big piece of steak she got herself. She got the biggest piece and the way she eats it. I want it too. She notices and she plays around teasing me. She moves the fork around and I follow it with my eyes.
S-You want it?
-Uh huh.
S-Hmm, just look at it, a roasted piece of meat, very juicy and delicious meat, hot and bathed in sauce and you want it so badly........
She gets it close to my mouth and as I try to get a bite she pulls it back at the last second taking it for her. I pout and they all laugh. She gulps it down.
S-Just out of your reach.
-Meanie.
S-Doctor orders.
I cross my arms in front of me frowning sadly. She laughs before she turns to hug me.
-You'll see. You'll get what's coming.
S-I know.
I finally relent and slowly I turn to hug her as well in a hard but gentle hug. I almost lost myself on it were she not to speak.
S-Max.
-A bit more?
Ka-Max!
I look at dad and he seems worried, he points to Sora and when I look at her she's almost passed out and out of breath. I loosen my grip and she gets out of it breathing in relief. She looks at me and smiles but I turn embarrassed.
-Too tight?
S-Too tight.
I take a deep breath.
-Maybe the gym will help.
S-Sure?
-Don't worry, I promise I'll be careful. Besides, I hurt my neck not my arms.
And with that I go to the gym. I lift weights. All kind of weights, on the bed, the sitting ones and the ones that are smaller too.
After a while I hear dad on the doorway.
Ka-Don't force yourself.
-I'm not.
Ka-Come on, is dinnertime.
-Where's Sora?
Ka-With the sisters.
-I'll be there in a bit.
The next days past almost too slow to my liking but finally I'm better. As promised, the doctor came to check on me and he finally give me the pass. I thank him and I dismiss him away. When I'm sure he's out of earshot I smile and I celebrate.
-Yeah! Ahaha.
I storm through the kitchen and I search for the rice beans and the most difficult meat to have bitten. I start cooking them and as I wait Sora hugs me from behind.
S-Happy?
-Beyond words.
I turn on her arms and I do a quick dance with her. Now that I can move as I always did I enjoy myself and sticking ourselves together I get our hands linked together and my other hand on her lower back. I go so fast that I have to ask her to step her feet on top of mine so she can keep up. She laughs amazed at my enthusiasm and my energy.
-I love you so much. What would I do without you?
S-Ha, you are very hyper today.
I get her on a seat and turn to the cooking again and I'm about to take a dish to serve myself but stop myself and I eat it directly from the oven. I don't bother taking forks or spoons or anything. I just grab it and bite.
S-Take it easy, don't choke yourself.
I stop and I take my time eating it. When I finish I lick my fingers satisfied. I turn to Sora.
-Want to see me exercise?
S-Only see.
I nod and I take her outside to the mini forest that occupies the entire way from the yard to the beach or more accurately, the house is built inside a forest. I look at Sora and she smiles giving me permission to exercise. I smile but before I turn to exercise to the full I turn to kiss her deeply.

When I finally break the kiss she is breathless and surprised but happy.
S-What was that for?
-For good luck.
I turn to the forest again and calling forth my different animal abilities. I climb the tree sticking my claws on the tree and when I'm high enough I jump from tree to tree hard enough to reach the top but soft enough that I don't break the tree. In one I get myself to swing back and forth holding to the branch with both hands. When I deem enough momentum is done I get myself pushed well above the top of the trees and I scream delighted with happiness before I land on another branch. I stop and I wave at Sora and she waves back happily. A bit after as I practice I hear dad calling me.
Ka-Max!
I stop and jump at the closest tree to him and I swing myself hanging upside down.

-Yes?
Ka-We have to talk, about your car.
-Am I going to fix it myself?
Ka-Yes but you won't be using it for a while. Not for yourself at least.
-How so?
Ka-You have to let Beatrice, Darcy, Zola and Yuki use it for them and only them.
-Is my favorite car.
Ka-Is only temporary, you'll get it back. Once they each get their respective birthdays celebrated you can take it back.
-Can I hold on to the keys until they want to use it?
He nods and just like that he gives me a poke and goes away. I turn to Sora.
-Come here.
With that she comes and I help her come to the tree with me. I rest on the branch with her in front of me. I cup her face on my hands and her smile is so sweet and cute that it makes my heart accelerates.
-You are so cute.
S-Flatterer.
I smile and I pull her in for a kiss. Her hands grasp at my chest and mine go down her neck to her back and finally her lower back pulling her very tight to me. Our tongues explore each other's mouths desperate for more. When we are breathless we separate with only our foreheads touching.
-I love you so much.
S-I love you too.
We get back to the house and I start fixing the car with dad.
After a few weeks the car is fixed and is like new. I smile satisfied and both dad and I go inside for dinner. As we eat the eldest of the girls takes my hand.
B-Maxie, brother, will you be a sweetheart and let me, us, borrow your car?
-Sure.
She smiles to the other girls and she opens her hand expectantly. For a moment I'm confused but then I remember I still have the keys.
-Oh right, the keys.
She smiles and I get out the key with the decoration I had for it.

I sigh and hand it over. She takes it but I don't let go a bit hesitantly at handing the keys over.
B-Uh, Max, let go.
I hold tighter before slowly letting go. She gives me a pat on the hand before she goes away and the other girls follow. I hear the car turn on and I see them drive away. I let out a squeak of sadness as I see them go.
S-They will be fine.
I give her a look and she seems to get it right away.
S-You miss the car?
-Only you and I had got the wheel on the car.
I finish my dinner a bit sadly and when we go to my room I borrow her phone. I have to call for my next concert and some other things I want to check for her birthday. She falls asleep and I sneak out towards dad to ask for advice on what to do for her birthday. Is going to be the same day of my concert so I'm a bit stressed on what to do but he does manages to give me some good ideas for it. I fix the last details on everything and go to sleep.
