73 Seventy Three-Decision

I close my eyes and after a bit I feel something cold on my forehead and I frown at the thought of it being Zeus again.
-If it's Zeus you better go away or I might kill you.
Ha-Easy, it's only me.
-Daddy.
We share smiles as I turn to give him a big and a kiss before I get under his arm and rest my head on his chest with my arms around his torso. He pats my head and he gives me a kiss before he speaks.
Ha-He has agreed to do something to reach a decision.
-Anything so I don't have to do as he says. So, what is it?
Ha-He offers you to fight him and the winner makes the decision.
-Meaning if I lose I marry and if I win I don't.
Ha-Precisely, but there is also another end goal with this challenge.
-Another end goal?
Ha-Yes, you haven't gotten your title here as a goddess. We never got you or Karma as official gods and we can now take the opportunity and decide your place among the gods.
-Like how they decided that Karai due to her abilities is the goddess of the animals.
Ha-Exactly, what do you say?
-Sure, when does he wants to do it?
Ha-When you get completely healed physically.
I nod and we decide to stay at Olympus until after the decision is made. Karma and Karai come to help me get ready for the fight. We don't tell Karma the real reason why I'm fighting Zeus. He takes care of me and Karai tells me about when she fought him and I listen to every word she says. Soon enough I'm all healed up and I'm getting ready to go fight. I put on the traditional Greek war costume with dad's help as he knows more about how to put them on. He pulls the laces strongly and he ties them tightly on my back and my feet. He helps me with the bracelets as well and Karma gives me my weapon of choice to fight Zeus.

I slide my finger across the edge of the sword examining it's edge carefully and I smile as is sharp like I like it.
-I won't lose. I got some tips from Ares as well on battle techniques.
Ha-You look amazing. Fierce, strong and yet a bit gentle.
Ka-Like a hidden strength or something of the sort.
Ha-Are you ready?
-I'm ready. Let's go.
We go and I see that Zeus is already there on his own battle suit. I growl in disgust and I tighten my grip on the sword as my anger rises. Zeus and I walk towards the center of the arena and take our positions on the arena. We take our stances and get ready for battle.
Po-Battle.
We start fighting and I'm almost immediately on the defensive blocking blow after blow. I give a roundabout making him fall before I jump backwards and out of his reach. I look at the sword and it starts to bother me how long it is but I keep using it. I try to cut on his torso at the sides but I fail every time as he moves to block with his sword. Not long after he manages to disarm me and I stay with my bare fists. I throw punches at him barely evading his sword and I hit only on the places I can see skin showing. In a turn I make a fake attack with my fists and as soon as he turns to dodge it I lift my leg up kicking him hard on the face. A move that Karai taught me the first time we trained together and I grew to like. I take my opportunity as he stumbles backwards in confusion to disarm him from his sword. Now we're both taking a hand to hand combat and I give a twirl ending up kicking the side of his head hard making him bleed from his nose. He throws a punch at me and I barely evade it as I bend backwards. When our auras start showing he grabs the back of my neck and he throws me hard to the ground and I barely have time to protect my beautiful face from a really dangerous hit as I only get a broken nose and a broken lip and a few scratches on my forehead. I take his hand and I squeeze hard as I get up slowly holding still his hand. I give h a head but and a punch on the gut and I throw him all the way across towards one of the many colums. He gets up and he throws me a lightning bolt that I evade with a fist of aura. I get back into position and I get a hand in a swinging motion like throwing something and I make a wall of earth grow into spikes that go towards him but he evades just barely. When we start getting exhausted he asks me.
Z-Why can't you obey one simple order?
I take a powerful stance with my legs opened and my arms stretched halfway to my sides and I give him my answer as I attack him one last time.
-Because I think that order is ridiculous and I will not bend to you. You can't force your will upon others as you want! We have our own opinion and you will respect my wishes.
I feel the wind blow fiercely around me and I get my hands on fire as some lightning comes to me and gives me power. When I had enough that I have to let it all out to attack I get my arms back and hen I stretch them out towards him and I keep it up until every bit of power has hit Zeus. It hits him so hard it pushes him backwards and he falls to the floor on his back. When is over he has a bit of aftershocks of electricity through his body and I keep my stance until he falls unconscious and I let myself relax when Poseidon declares me as the winner by knockout. I fall to my knees and I breath heavily as the adrenaline leaves my body. I stay on my knees for a while until Poseidon comes at my side.
Po-Is everything alright?
He gets to touch me but I snap his hand away.
-Don't, I'm just tired.
I try to get up but as my legs start to tremble I lose my balance and I almost fall. Poseidon tries to help me but I don't let him. I sit back down and I call for Karma.
-Karma.
I hear as he comes but I can't see him clearly as I start to see blurry and everything else multiple times. I rub my face and my eyes as I feel a hand on my shoulder.
-Karma?
Ka-I'm here. What's wrong?
-I can't see clearly. I need help to move around.
Ka-Can you locate us by aura?
-What about the things that don't have an aura? A bed, a couch or a wall.
Ka-Let's get you cleaned up.
I nod but before I can start to move around I feel as he lifts me on his arms and I smile before I turn to rest my head on his chest. I pass my hand through his hair playfully all the way back home. When we get home he gets me down on the couch and after a couple of minutes he gets me a wet towel and I rub it on my face cleaning myself before he turns me to lie down on my back.
Ka-Close your eyes.
I do and he gives me a pat on the cheek before I feel him getting my forehead wet and then he cleans my face gently until I can see again. I hear when everyone else comes home and dad sits at my side.
Ha-He agreed on respecting your wishes regarding the thing and we also decided that Karma too shall fight but he will fight with Poseidon.
Ka-Why?
Ha-Is to decide your place as a god. It was the same thing with Nova. They were evaluating her abilities to identify her as the goddess of something, they want to evaluate you as well and then they will tell everyone and you your places amongst the gods.
Karma POV
I look at dad as he explains the reasons and I shrug.
-If is something I have to do I don't see any problem whatsoever. When is the fight going to be?
Ha-Tomorrow morning. So I'll recommend that you rest today and get a few tips around on how to fight him.
-Dad, he's a pacifist. The fighters here are mostly Zeus and Ares. And I know for a fact that Ares can't fight because of him being a god of war and such and Zeus is well, unable to fight right now.
Ha-Don't underestimate him, there is a reason why he's one of the strongest Top Tier Gods.
-What can you tell me about his abilities?
Ha-Not much is known besides that he has control over the waters.
I smile and I turn to ask Nova for her opinion only to find that she has fallen asleep on the couch. I let out a low chuckle and I turn to dad.
-Dad look.
Ha-She must be tired after that fight. It was intense.
-There is another reason why she is so tired.
Ha-Another reason?
-What did she fought with?
Ha-Lightning and her fists and a sword.
-She didn't played any illusions on him.
Ha-He already had a taste of that beforehand. But what is the other reason?
-First on the sword, she is not used to fighting with swords that are long like that, she prefers daggers or anything short and small but deadly. Her fists, she is on neutral ground there biut is still not her strongest point and then she used wind, fire and lightning to knock him out. She is definitely not good at controlling the elements but she can have some control over them, using three elements and with that much power is definitely going to wear her out.
Ha-What about you? You and her share similar powers.
-I can control them easier. Fire, earth, water and sometimes even the air but that last one has been hard for me. Who knows, maybe I can control more elements but I haven't still discovered them.
Ha-Perhaps you can use earth against Poseidon tomorrow. Remember that the fight is to put you to your limits and make you use all of your power.
-I'll think of a strategy within my abilities. Should I wake her up for dinner or do I let her sleep?
Ha-Whatever you think is best.
He goes away and I stay with Nova and after a bit I decide to wake her up.
-Nova, hey, wake up. Dinner is ready, do you want to eat?
N-Mmm, is there a way I can not move from here?
-No, get up and go get your food.
She groans and stretches a bit before she gets up and we go to the dining room. She waves to the rest of the family before she sits down on her seat.
Ha-Tired?
N-It was harder than I thought.
K-Fighting Zeus?
N-No, sleeping was, if course fighting Zeus.
Ha-You still won.
He-And by knockout no less.
K-That's going to hurt his ego so bad.
Nova laughs at that and I give her her dinner.
-Here you go.
N-Thank you, smells good.
She starts eating and I get my own and sit to eat. We eat in silence and when we finish we all go to sleep.
