After a long talk at the park we go back to the house and they are still asleep in their respective rooms. I get my green smoothie and I get a big gulp before I have to put it down. I look at it when I feel a pull on my shirt, I look at Karma closely and he points to the green smoothie and I give him the glass and he drinks the rest slowly and when he finishes I wash the glass and save it on its place.
Hera POV
I wake up to an empty bed and I hurry out of bed and as I get closer to the kitchen I hear both Hades and Karma laughing. I peek and they are playing some kind of game where Hades pushes Karma's head back with his finger if he's not fast enough. I enter with a smile.
-How are my boys doing this morning?
Ka-I got a taste of the green drink.
Ha-The green smoothie.
-So, did you like it? Did you figure out what it has?
Ka-It was good. Too bad I can't drink it with everything. I'll wake the sisters.
He stands and runs to the bedroom to get his sisters leaving Hades and me alone in the kitchen.
-Did you talked to him?
Ha-Yes, yes I did.
-I see it went well.
Ha-He was surprisingly willing to share and talk about it.
After a couple minutes of silence we hear loud noises and screams from Karai's room.
K-Get out of my room.
Ka-Come on.
N-You'll get dressed later.
Ka-After lunch.
We turn to see that Karma is pulling Karai out of her room only half dressed. She mouths to her father for help and he laughs as he gets Karma and Nova from her.
Ha-Easy now, who gave you permission to torture your sister?
Ka-Is not torture.
N-Is called, making sure she eats with us.
K-Too early. The sun is hurting me.
We laugh at her and she sits down at the table to wait for the breakfast which I make fast and easy. We eat silently but Nova and Karma make theirs look like hearts and so on. I tap in between them and when they turn to me I speak.
-Are you going to eat or play?
They look at each other before turning back to me and then they eat as fast as possible so they can play. When they finish they run towards the room and they get dressed. As they do that Karai clears her throat and speaks.
K-I was wondering if I can take them somewhere and be together just us three. On my birthday perhaps.
Ha-Aren't you going to throw a party?
K-Not this time. I barely spend time with them so, why not?
-Are you entirely sure about that?
Ha-They can be quite a handful out of control.
K-Please, I can handle them. I mean, how hard can it be?
Hades and I look at each other and we shrug together.
Ha-Where do you plan on taking them?
K-An amusement park? Swimming? Maybe both. I can ask them and reach an agreement together. Can they come with me?
-Hades? Your call.
Ha-Only if they want to.
K-I'll go ask them.
She stands and goes get them and shortly after they come running in excitedly.
N-Can we really go with her?
Ka-But her birthday is in less than a week and we don't have anything for her.
N-I got it.
They look at each other and they nod making an elaborated handshake before they run to the rooms again. I let out a sigh and Hades rest on his chair looking exhausted.
Ha-I can never tell what those two are thinking.
-Me neither. They always have a new handshake to use.
Ha-At least they like each other and don't fight.
-Do you mean like Zeus and you?
He looks at me mimicking a wounded animal and we laugh at that dropping the topic. We go to the rooms and we find that Nova and Karma are looking at Karai's closet and taking notes on a notebook.
The day of the birthday we give Karai five hundred dollars for her siblings to use and she saves them on her purse and then she takes both of them and head outside.
K-Say bye. You're mine for the rest of the day.
They wave bye at us and we wave back until the door closes. I lean in Hades's chest hugging him tightly.
-I wish they would never grow up.
Ha-I know the feeling.
-So, what can we do to pass the time?
Ha-I have a few ideas. Do I list them or should I just demonstrate.
I pull him down by the tie and kiss him deeply. He makes a trail of kisses down my neck making my legs weak with pleasure and I grab him by the arms tightly and he laughs at me. He takes me up and charges me to the room putting me down on the bed as he admires me.
Ha-You're as beautiful as always.
-You don't look bad either.
Ha-You're irresistible.
We kiss viciously and just as he starts undoing the buttons of my shirt I roll us over so I'm on top stopping him from undoing my shirt completely. I put my arm at the side of his head and put my finger to his lips.
-You've become so impatient.
Ha-Do I have to do something first?
-Not really, I just feel like torturing you a bit.
Ha-Any particular reason or is just for your own entertainment?
-My own entertainment.
I pass my hand under his shirt scratching my nails against his chest and he smiles knowingly at me.
Ha-Found something you like?
-Mmm, maybe?
He laughs and after that we make love multiple times like savage animals letting list guide us and determine our actions.
Karai POV (Same time)
When we reach the place we go to the stores first and as we enter I turn to them getting out a few dollars and handing them to each.
-Now, take these and get a swimsuit that fits you and meet me at this same register when you choose.
They nod and they go together to choose them. When they come back they have matching swimsuits. Nova has a one piece purple with gold laces and a gold heart on the side while Karma has a golden pair of shorts with the borders in purple and a sweat shirt plain purple with a heart on the side of the chest. They hand them to me and I get them to pay them and the cashier says the price they both give the money to her and we both laugh at their cuteness. As nice as she can she takes the money and then she gives the change to me and the swimsuits to them. They thank her and they pull me out of the store again. I get them so they can change clothes and then I take them in a personal boat I got in a game against dad some time ago. When they see the boat they hug each other and they ask the first thing that comes to their minds.
Ka-Woah, you could live here.
N-Is it yours?
-Is ours, dad gave it to me a few years back but I haven't had the chance to use it yet.
Ka-So we are your first passengers?
I nod and get them coming.
-Roberto, Esteban, get everything ready.
E-Roberto, the boss is here and she has company.
R-Oh, and are they as beautiful as she is? Is there any friends I can hook up with?
He pokes his head to see and he gets surprised when he sees my siblings. I throw him a dirty look and he clears his throat.
-These are my twin siblings Karma and Nova.
R-Twins? So, how old are you both?
N-Ten. How fast can the boat go?
Ka-How far out can we go?
-Easy now, we'll have plenty of time to ask all of those questions. Now, up you go.
I help them up on the boat and Esteban helps them with their things before he helps me up as well. Once we are all aboard I get them inside and they might have their mind blown by what they see.
Ka-Wow, this is so cool.
N-You have an indoor pool on your boat.
They scream so loudly that I have to cover my ears. I point to the pool for them to look and they look.
-Look closely. At the bottom. Do you see it?
N-The mirror down there?
-No, look closely, is a crystal. Wait here and hold on.
I go out and ask Esteban to go to the reef and I come back inside.
-Now, look closely until we stop.
I see as they smile widely as they see the reef coming into view and the fishes swimming there.
-Do you want to swim there for a bit?
N-Can we?
-You kidding me? That's precisely what you're here for. Out and wait for me, ask Roberto and Esteban to help you with the gear.
They nod and they go outside and I start changing into my own swimsuit and get my gear on and then I head outside where I find them already ready and waiting for me. I go into the water first and then I turn to see them as they take each other's hand and jump together. They come out and they laugh a bit.
-Are you ready to have some fun?
They nod and they give me a kiss each on my cheeks which surprises me but I focus again on everything and I instruct them in what to do before we go underwater. When we're ready and set we go down and we explore the reef. Karma finds a couple shells and he takes one and gives it to me and another one for Nova and then he takes another one and I assume is for mom but when he takes another one I get a bit confused before I remember the girl he likes. I point to a ray and when they look their eyes go wide with admiration. When the oxygen is over we go back up and I help them up the ladder and back to the boat. When we go back up I give them each a towel but they don't take them and I look at them.
N-We are going to use the indoor pool.
-Oh okay. I'm going to get a tan out here and then we're going back to shore I have another place I want to take you, is a surprise.
They nod and they go inside and to the pool inside. I turn to the highest part of the boat where the sun is always at its strongest and I get my towel put there and I lie there facing up and I use my sunglasses. Just as I start to get sleepy I turn to lie so I'm facing down to tan my back and not long afterwards I fall asleep.
When I wake up I realize the boat is moving and I turn to see that we're reaching shore. I call out to Roberto and Esteban and ask them.
-Roberto, Esteban, what's happening?
E-Oh, it was time to come back just like you told us earlier.
R-Didn't you hear me when I told you earlier?
-I was asleep, I just woke up.
R-You were asleep? I thought you were awake.
-How are Nova and Karma doing?
R-They're inside resting a bit. They got tired of playing and well they got bored so, resting.
I nod and as the boat stops I start saving the things and I get a skirt on and call my siblings out. They come and we wave goodbye to everyone and I take them down the street towards an amusement park that is about to open for the rest of the night just by the other end of the beach. When we get there they look around as if it were the best day ever and when they see the ferris wheel they turn to me with pleading eyes and I smile at them knowingly.
-You want to go on the ferris wheel?
N-Yes please.
Ka-Can we?
-Yes you can, let me get the tickets and we go up.
We go up the ferris wheel at least twelve times before we go to the other games where they win a prize in almost all of them. After the third game I stay at the entrance with the toys that they win and they bring me one gift each from all of the stores and they eat two sugar candy and a caramel apple which they share them both as one is green and the other is red and then when they have gone through every single ride and stand on he park they come back with me.
-Are you happy?
They nod at me as they keep eating their caramel apples and then I get all of the stuff on my arms and my back and with my mouth and we go back home.
