Karma POV
I turn to the bathrooms and I search for my baby brother to finish our competition before going home. I look everywhere and when I don't see him anywhere I go towards dad and ask him.
-Dad, have you seen Calix?
Ha-Yes, many times, long white hair with platinum eyes.........
-Daaad, I'm asking seriously. Have you seen him?
He laughs and he sits up looking at me.
Ha-Not for the last couple hours why?
-I wanted to finish the challenge I got for him earlier.
He-He's gone.
-Do you know where he is?
He-No, but I can say he's having a great time.
Ha-You honestly can't tell me you didn't notice she's not here either.
He-He snuck out with Angel.
I smile and I laugh as I play endless scenarios on my mind.
-Attaboy, I bet he's comforting her in a way.......
Next thing I know I'm evading a towel mom threw at me.
-Mother, what was that for?
He-Such a dirty mind you have.
Ha-He can't help it.
-I can't, wait what?
Ha-You're mind is obviously not focused anymore. Go relax a bit.
He-Yes, go far away but not too far.
-Yes, I might need a distraction. Call me when we go home.
Ha & He-Go!!!
-Geez.
I throw them a towel and we all laugh as I do let gravity pull me down to the pool. I hit the water and I take a breath and go meditate at the very bottom of the pool.
Nova POV
I let out a sigh as dad shakes me.
Ha-Nova, time to go home. Is getting late.
-Is Karma still in the pool?
Ha-Yes he is.
-I'll get him and go change to go home.
With that I get up and I jump into the pool. I see him still meditating at the bottom of the pool and I go towards him. I take his hand and caress his face. He opens his eyes and smiles, I smile back and point up. He understands because we both go upwards and I take a deep breath as I get out of the pool. Karma laughs when he looks at me and I frown a bit confused.
-What's so funny?
Ka-Is not you if that's what you're wondering. I'm just relieved and relaxed. Nothing can ruin my good mood right now and I'm going to have a good time. So, see you later.
He gives me a kiss and he goes change clothes leaving me alone. I sit and start to dry my hair with the towel and he comes out with a suit and he gives me another kiss on the cheek before he disappears to go away. I finish drying up my hair and I go change as well before I go home with the rest of my family.
Calix POV
I get towards mom's old place with Angel and we both clean up a bit making sure everything's fine and working properly and as we make everything I make a mini tent on the living room with pillows and blankets and as we finish everything I let out a sigh of relief.
-Well, this is good. Angel, babe, can you kiss me?
I hear her laugh and I feel as she kisses my hand teasingly. I smile as she keeps kissing me and then she undresses herself with my hands. I get desperate when she presses her body against mine and then she takes off my sweater jacket and gets it on herself and then we go to the living room. I hear the movie she puts and I get lost in her body exploring it fully. She let's me do as I please but I keep my hunger down and limit myself to respect her as I'm still a gentleman. She also teases me a bit until we fall asleep together intertwined together.
Five years later
Is my 22 birthday and I am with the boys at a bar. The ladies are all shopping for cute things. I am having a good time doing friendly wrestling matches and as I wait for my turn I sneak dad to a corner away from everyone.
Ha-Are you enjoying yourself?
-Yeah, but I want to ask something.
Ha-Does it involves your little angel?
I blush furiously as he guesses right and I hear him laugh as he ruffles my hair.
Ha-What can I help you with?
-I want to ask her to marry me but I have no idea how to do it.
Ha-You want something special. Unique, memorable, creative.
-Yes, I have cracked my head open for anything but I end up worse than before and with no ideas at all. Ugh, I feel so dumb.
I rest my back against the wall and I slide down to sit on the floor as I rest my frustration in a groan. I hear dad laugh before I sense him getting on one knee. He pats my head one more time before he puts his hand on mine.
Ha-Well, the first thing you have to have is the ring. I'll help you choose one if you haven't chosen one yet.
-Thanks. You're the best.
Ha-I know I am, now let's get back to the party. Tomorrow we'll rise bright and early to get a ring.
-Early bird gets the best?
Ha-Exactly. Come on.
He pulls me up and back to the party and we enjoy the rest of the night.
The next day I am the first to wake up and as always I do my exercising. I finish with one arm push ups and as I do them I hear a knock on the door.
-Come in.
Ha-Ready to go?
-Just a second.
I do a couple more push ups and then I finish and get up.
-Let me change and we can go.
Ha-Take your time.
I get showered and I change and eat and everything and as we go out I grow nervous and my mind draws yet another blank at the lack of ideas. I start to bite my fingernails as I try to think of something but I end up with nothing. I frown and get frustrated at everything.
Ha-Calix, have you thought of the material you want to get it made of?
-Silver with a glass or a crystal. Something that seems transparent but is not. Mirror like I think is the word.
Ha-Any inscription on it?
-Yes. Yours forever or two hearts linked together.
He laughs at that and we enter the ring store. He describes every single one while I explore it with my fingers. When we finally find one I rub it on my cheek as I imagine it being her doing it and I smile as I decide I want one like it.
Ha-What are you doing?
-I want this one.
Ha-Good choice, is a rare beauty. Unique.
-Like the future owner of it.
He laughs and we go pay for it. As we go out of the store we start to plan on how to ask her. We scratch some ideas and everything as we crack our heads open.
Angel POV
I fidget with my fingers as I think about Calix's latest attitude. He has been acting weird and very nervous and I can't help but wonder if he doesn't love me anymore. I am snapped out of my thoughts by his niece Isabella.
I-Hey, are you still with us? Where did you go?
-Nothing is just.
I shrug not knowing what to do or say to her.
I-Is it about uncle Calix?
-How?
I-So I was right, is he not treating you well?
-I don't know, he's a gentleman but I feel like he's lost his love for me. He seems distant on our dates.
Pe-Are you kidding me? All he talks about is you and how wonderful you are. If I talk about anything else I can tell you he always finds a way to end up talking about you.
-Really? Does he talk about me?
I-Sometimes it gets exhausting but we have no doubt he loves you a lot.
K-Have you had sex already?
-What kind of question is that? You don't ask that.
N-Have you?
-No, he respects me. I know he wants it but he keeps himself just to caressing me and kissing me. He makes me shiver with that storm he hides within himself.
I-We asked if you had sex not how he kisses you.
I blush hard and they laugh at me as I bury my face on a pillow.
-Sorry, is just, he's so good to me I can't help fall in love with him again and again everyday. But still, why is he being a bit distant with me lately.
Pe-Maybe he wants to propose to you.
-You think?
He-Either that or he leaves you and he always says that he loves you with his life and that he wants to spend his life with you.
N-His heart beats for you.
K-He lives for you.
I-He adores you.
-I love him so much.
We keep talking for a while before we go to the stores to do our hair and shop and everything to have a ladies day.
Calix POV
I smile as dad gives me advice on how to treat her.
Ha-You have to go slow. Prepare her maybe with a nice romantic dinner, a dance even. Make her feel special, wanted, loved. Like she's the only woman in the world. Take her likes and dislikes into consideration. Don't rush it but don't go too slow either. Let your heart speak for you.
-I think I might have an idea. Come on, there is something we must do. Call everyone in our family. The guardians, call Aphrodite and Cupid, I might need them for this and Nova too.
Ha-What are you planning?
-Just call them and tell them to meet up with us here.
With that I go to the security footage and organize some things. Then I go back where the other gods are already waiting for me.
Aphrodite-I hear you need my help.
I take her to the side and I show her a picture.
-This is my girlfriend, get her a nice dress that says I love you with all my heart. Lady knows lady. When I'm with her, as soon as she gives me her answer you will play your heart aura around us.
She nods and goes away with Cupid. I turn to Nova and I take her hand and give her a piece of paper.
-Sing this when I tell you to.
She nods and we all go do what we are supposed. It takes some time but when the day finally arrives and I go get her for a morning walk.
Angel POV
I go with Calix for an early morning walk and I notice he smiles all the way there. He's being super romantic as he rubs the back of my hand dearly. He gets me a flower from the store.
C-A flower for my angel. The most beautiful lady on the world. I love you.
-So cute. I love you too.
He takes me to a nice restaurant and we eat something for breakfast. He feeds me on the mouth and when I'm finished he excuses himself from the table and goes away giving me a kiss on the forehead.
C-Excuse me for a moment.
-I miss you already.
He gives me a kiss on the forehead again before he goes away and I swear I hear him whistling the nuptial theme.
