We wait and wait and wait for Calix to clean his room.
-Don't you think you were a bit too hard on him?
Ha-No.
After about five hours, close to dinner Calix comes out looking tired.
C-I'm done with the room.
We go check and dad smiles proudly.
Ha-Nice, that's so much better.
C-Ok, now to clean myself.
He goes away and he gets in the bathroom and takes a long shower as we go eat. Mom is already cooking dinner for all of us. We sit on our respective and mom doesn't serve the food until we're all seated. Calix dresses up nicely with a suit and he eats softly. We crack jokes at each other going back to our usual fun.
C-You can have the book back if you want.
Ka-But you like it so much.
Ha-Never do that again.
C-I won't, I promise.
-How was the book?
C-Can we stop talking about the book? I already had enough of that to last a lifetime.
K-Then what do you want to talk about?
C-How about, when is my place going to be decided.
Ha-What do you want to know?
C-The when, where, how and with who?
Ha-Everyone decided you should choose what you want to do to show your capabilities and everything else. I would fight you but being your father I'm forbidden to teat you myself. Same with your mother and siblings.
C-I'll come up with something. I'll let you know.
Ha-Is soon after you master your powers entirely.
We keep giving him advice and promise to practice with him the next day early.

The next morning after we all wake up and have breakfast dad practices with Calix to teach him techniques, strategy, counterattacks and such. Calix throws punches but he doesn't land a single blow. Dad doesn't have much luck either as he doesn't land a single blow either. They throw blows but neither of them can and a single one as they get blocked over and over again. Dad looks calm as ever not breaking a sweat but Calix is already panting. He makes a double attack throwing one kick and then another one before he jumps backwards. Then he throws a punch directly towards the face but dad blocks it with both arms and he is pushed back a bit. He grunts and when he looks up his expression turns worried and he pushes Calix back.
Ha-Enough.
C-But.....
Ha-Enough. We'll continue later.
Dad gives him a pat on the shoulder and a smile.
Ha-You did good. Learn to balance everything. Go with your sisters and brother.
I go towards him and hand him a towel.
-Here, take this and this.
I give him a bottle of water and he drinks almost everything in a single go.
C-Never knew water could be so delicious.
I laugh and we all go rest on the living room. Dad gets some paperwork done as I watch videos on my phone and Calix rests on the sofa reading one of his books. After a bit I hear a thump and when I turn to see what it was I see that Calix has fallen asleep on the couch and the book has fallen on the floor.
-Dad look.
He looks up from his papers and when he sees Calix asleep he smiles happily.
Ha-Let him rest, he deserves it. Where are your other siblings?
-Karai is on her room and Karma must be getting satisfied? As far as I know. Where's mom?
Ha-Organizing some problems. I have a question for you.
-Ask ahead.
Ha-What can I give to your mother as a surprise? A romantic surprise.
-Try getting her two favorite things together. Merge them together.
Ha-What are her favorite things on your perspective?
-You baking.
Ha-Me baking? I don't get it.
-She likes baking and she likes you so why don't you bake her something.
He considers my idea for a moment before he nods.
Ha-That's not a bad idea. I like it, I'll do that. Thank you so much.

He goes back to his work and he makes some notes apart. I go back to watching videos and soon later I fall asleep as well.
Hades POV
I am working on the usual works and making some apart notes each time I get a thought to surprise Hera when she finishes her own work. I turn to see my kids and I smile as I see them both asleep. Calix is asleep on the couch while Nova is asleep on the floor resting against the couch. I keep looking at them for a bit more before I turn to work again. After about six hours Karma arrives.
Ka-Good evening.
-Evening. Where were you?
Ka-Giving my body what it desires?
I look at him raising an eyebrow and he shrugs.
Ka-I don't know, what do you want me to say?
I save my paperwork and stretch out my arms before I stand up from the table. I take the papers and get them to my office as Karma goes to the kitchen. After I save the papers I go to the kitchen as well and I look as Karma cooks diligently.
-What are you making?
Ka-A mix of lasagna with spaghetti and meatballs.
Karma POV
I separate the ingredients to make the food and I take the knife to cut everything together.
