Ricky smiled as he rolled over in bed. the sight of Nini with her hair spread out over the pillows was a sight he never got tired of. he sighed contently as he cupped her cheek, running his thumb over her soft skin. Nini stretched and groaned at the sensation, her eyes opening slightly, seeing her curly haired husband in front of her.

she smiled, "good morning."

"morning babe," Ricky said as he leaned over to kiss her. they shared several kisses, Ricky attempting to deepen them. he hovered above her, one hand holding her neck. Nini's fingers were in his curls. the couple smiled against each others lips when they heard the small voice from the door.

Nini glanced over Ricky's shoulder, seeing her curly haired little boy running to the bed, "good morning baby! did you sleep well?"

Ricky pulled away as his wife pulled the little boy into bed with them. Oliver Richard Bowen came into their lives three years ago after they'd been married for two years. he was the light of their lives. Ricky loved seeing Nini be a mom. she was the most amazing mother.

Nini ruffled the boys hair as he cuddled into his mother. Ricky smiled, placing a hand on his sons back. he moved out of bed after placing a kiss to Nini's hair.

"i'm gonna go start breakfast."

Nini nodded in response. Ricky was the best father. he was so ecstatic the day Nini told him she was pregnant. he always made sure to check on the two of them throughout the day, always worrying about them. Nini couldn't have picked a better man to share her life with.

she got herself out of bed, pulling her son up into her arms and carrying him down the stairs. sunday's in the Bowen household were relaxing days. Nini was a private theatre coach and Ricky taught music at East High so they had very busy weeks but the weekends were always their times together.

Nini came into the kitchen, Oliver resting on her hip, to see Ricky standing at the stove making scrambled eggs. she put Oliver in his seat at the table in the kitchen before coming up behind Ricky, her arms wrapping around his waist.

she smiled to herself when he leaned back against her slightly, she pressed a kiss to his clothed shoulder blade and walked to the fridge to prepare a drink for her son.

Nini watched as Ricky sat with Oliver, feeding him bites of food from his plate. she smiled as her two boys laughed together, their voices filling the kitchen. as much as she loved being a mother, she loved getting to watch Ricky be a father.

she approached the table and set a sippy cup in front of Oliver before pressing a kiss to his little full head of curls. Nini then leaned down to press a kiss to her husbands cheek, whispering in his ear, "i have something i wanna talk about with you later."

the rest of the late morning and early afternoon was spent in the living room, watching disney movies and playing with Oliver on the carpet. the family was curled up on the couch, halfway through Nini's favorite disney movie, Tangled. Ricky had his arm over the top of the couch, Nini cuddled into his side, Oliver peacefully sleeping against her chest. Nini placed her hand on her sons back, sighing as she felt the rise and fall of his breaths through his little body.

Ricky placed his hand on top of hers on their child's back, the diamond on her engagement ring lightly scratching his palm. she turned to look at her husband, Ricky leaning down to place a soft kiss to her lips.

"i'm so happy, the three of us are a perfect family," Ricky said contently.

Nini turned to face her husband, Oliver slumped against her chest. "that's actually kinda what i wanted to talk to you about," she watched as Ricky raised his eyebrow in a questioning manor, "i know that we're happy with the way things are now. you've got a great stable job and i love the freedom my schedule gives me, Ollie is doing great, i think it's time we try again."

Ricky continued to look at Nini in a questioning manor, he didn't understand what she was saying, "what're you talking about?"

"Ricky," she started, taking a moment to gather her words, "i wanna have another baby."

Nini watched her husbands eyes widened in shock at her words. she scrambled to speak again, fearing her didn't share the same idea. "i just mean that you and i both grew up as only children and yes while we had each other, it was lonely when we weren't together. i don't want Ollie growing up feeling the same way we did. plus, i miss the baby stage and i miss getting to watch you with a tiny baby in your hands cause let me tell you, that's so hot. i just, i think now would be a good time to try for another baby."

Ricky smiled sweetly at his wife's rambling, "Nini honey, calm down." she looked at him, searching for any answers in his eyes.

Ricky started to speak again, his hand gripping hers, "i've been trying to figure out how to tell you i wanted to have another baby for weeks."

Nini's eyes widened in joy as tears began to fill them, "you do?"

he nodded quickly, "there's nothing more that i love than watching you be a mother Neens, i love seeing you take care of our son, it's my favorite thing in the world. plus, you're hot when you're pregnant so that's a plus too," Ricky jokes as his wife swatted at his chest with a chuckle.

before they could discuss the topic anymore, Oliver was up again and ready to play. Ricky played with him in the living room while Nini cooked dinner. she smiled as she watched them over the kitchen island, singing songs and running around. she couldn't wait for them to have another baby.

after dinner, Nini headed to the bathroom to draw Oliver's bath. it was their nightly routine. Ricky brought the boy into the bathroom and watched as his wife stripped him down and set him in the tub, carefully wetting his hair with a cup of water. he cleaned up around the house as she bathed Ollie. he returned upstairs when he heard Nini draining the tub, figuring he'd help get his son ready for bed.

Nini dried Ollie off as Ricky pulled out a clean pair of pajamas for his son. they got him dressed, Nini helping him brush his teeth as Ricky ran the baby comb through his little curly hair. when they were all set in the bathroom, Nini sent Oliver to go pick out a story while she and Ricky cleaned up the bathroom.

Oliver has chosen a story about a princess in a far away kingdom to read before bed, Nini sitting on the edge of his bed as she read to him. when the story was over, Ricky and Nini tucked the boy into his bed, both giving him kisses on the head and telling him how much they loved him.

Ricky proceeded to turn all the lights off and lock the door as Nini went to get ready for bed. he came into the bedroom just as Nini was walking out of the en-suite bathroom in a baby pink silk nightgown; her favorite. he smiled lightly as he passed by her, his hand grazing her back. she got under the covers as Ricky stripped back into his boxers, climbing in after her.

he pulled her into his arms, kissing her deeply as his hands roamed her back, clenching the silk material. Nini let out a low moan as he bit her bottom lip. she was so glad that after 13 years of dating, 5 years of marriage, and one baby, that their sex life was still extremely healthy. she smiled slyly as he pulled away, his lips nipping at her collarbone. she laced her fingers through his curls as he bit at her neck, his hand toying with the bottom of her nightgown.

he moved to meet her lips again, kissing her several times as their breathing became shallow and uneven. "hey," Nini let out in a breath, Ricky humming in response as he kissed her again, "you wanna start trying?" he kissed her again, a look in his eyes that she was very familiar with, "like right now?" she said as he attached his lips to hers again.

Ricky pulled away, his forehead against hers as he reached down to pull her nightgown off, "baby, i'm already there."

they giggled like idiots as they became one again.
