Liv smiles when the director yells cut, the girl knowing she gets to head home for the night.

"okay guys! that's a wrap for tonight! i'll see you all in the morning!" Tim yells out to the cast and crew.

Olivia hurries to get back to the offices across the street from East High, walking quickly next to her handler in the chilly night. she changes quickly once she's back in her dressing room, pulling on the leggings and sweater that she wore to work that morning, her Doc Martins on her feet. she takes a makeup wipe from the counter and wipes off the makeup from the day, her face feeling fresh and clean afterwards.

she feels hands land on her waist as she's closing her dressing room door behind her. she turns around to see her boyfriend standing before her, "hi."

Josh smiles his signature goofy smile, "hi. what's your plans for tonight?"

"i was just gonna head back to my apartment, why?" she asks, her brows furrowed.

his hands drop down to hers, their fingers interlacing as they stand closely, "i was thinking we could go to the dock for a bit, we haven't been in a while."

Liv smiles widely, leaning up to kiss his cheek, "yeah, i'd love that."

Josh smiles and nods towards the exit, pulling his girlfriend by her hand to his car, opening the door for her like always. they both sing along to Harry Styles as Josh drives them through the streets of Salt Lake, his hand gently resting on her lower thigh.

they pull into the marina at Utah Lake, their favorite meeting place. this was their go to escape, their favorite place to be alone together. since they started sneaking around together while filming season one before ultimately becoming public to their friends and family, they'd often meet here late at night to just be together. they couldn't go out to eat together alone or be seen around their apartment complex together in fear that a fan would catch them and post pictures online, so they found this dock.

they both get out of the car, Josh grabbing the blanket off of his backseat. they hold hands as they walk down the dock, the waves of the lake crashing gently. he sets out the blanket on the concrete dock and they both sit down, Josh putting his arm around Olivia.

they're quiet, the sound of the waves and the occasional owl the only sounds permeating the night. Liv's head lays against his chest as his hand rubs her leg gently.

"i've missed this place." Olivia says quietly.

"yeah?" Josh asks, looking down at her.

she nods, "mhm, more specifically being here with you."

he sighs a little, "i wish i could take you out on a date, a real date, not just us sneaking out to this dock after work in the middle of the night. you deserve better than that."

she moves to take his face in her hands, "hey, no, we've talked about this. i'm fine with the way we are now. just a few more months of hiding and then when i turn 18 we can tell everyone that we're together, okay?"

Josh nods a little and Olivia leans in, capturing his lips with hers gently. they share sweet kisses before his arms slip around her waist, pulling her against him. her fingers slip up into his curls, threading through them as their tongues explore each other's mouths. she moans a little into his mouth when he bites her lip, his kisses moving down her throat.

"Josh...don't leave a mark..." Liv groans out, her head tipped back as he kisses her throat and neck.

he hums against her skin before sucking at a space just above her collarbone. she gasps and pulls his head closer by his hair, the boy grinning against her skin. her legs wrap around his waist as he pulls her closer, nibbling onto her neck.
