okay, peeps! awaaat naaaa!!!! here's 3 more tales to return to the main purpose of this thread:

To the peeps who made a comment on the place I mentioned: hindi po ako brave. I have to go there, it's our office, and care ko ba kung ano-ano pa ang lumiligid dun. Besides, I believe that the resident spirit is friendly...she does too look out for us. Plus ang dami-dami-dami nang nagyayari dun sa lugar na yon, sanay na kami. Resident spirit nga talaga. Finally, I've had many encounters of the supernatural kind na, and so I have come to the conclusion that they are unavoidable...kung matatakot ako e mare-restrict lang ang buhay ko. So let's all just live and let live with the spirits, I guess.

Another mumuu story: One time I was studying for finals, and I was at the ground floor of our house. As with our office, a lot of spooky stuffs happen in our house (is it just me or what?) and we have had to get used to it. When we were little my playmates would tell me that people would see a lady from my bedroom window, or a man would be standing at the gate, etc, etc. Anyway...so matigas ang ulo ko and I was still up in the wee hours of the morning. At around three I got up to make myself another mug of coffee, when I suddenly felt someone watching me. Deadma...I just went about making coffee. Then someone started whispering. "pssst...psst..." Frantic, I turned around, staring at the absolute blackness outside the window. "Who's there?" I asked, (takot na takot na ko nito, so it came out more like "w-wh-who's th-th-there?") and then, I SWEAR THIS MADE ME WANT TO JUMP OUT OF MY SKIN...I heard a female voice giggle and call out my name. I calmly put the mug down...and ran upstairs. I had to wake up the whole household before I could go downstairs again to put my books away.

Another late night fiasco: I was talking on the phone while doing my project on the PC. Same floor, same window. The girl I was on the phone with was my groupmate, and I was so engrossed in telling her the details of my report that I stopped typing to leaf through some data. The screensaver kicked in. I was just leaning back in my chair when the screensaver cleared...and lo, and behold...the mouse was moving all by its frigging self!  I couldn't run – yung PC kasi, naka-on pa...e hindi ko naman malaman kung huhulihin ko pa yung mouse...take note, hindi naka-incline yung table, ha! My friend asked why I had shut up all of a sudden...I told her that someone wanted me to go to bed na yata. And that was it. The mouse stopped. I immediately shut the PC down and went to bed, saying goodnight to whoever it was that was making me sleep already. Since then I have come to the understanding that any time I stay up past three, *they* will come around to remind me. Grabe, without fail talaga to...so kind! Sometimes I can ask for an extension and the noise (or whatever is happening) will stop, and sometimes it won't...so I try not to break the curfew....

Last hirit: Remember the asuwang scare in manila? There was a rumor that the aswang lived two streets down from us. That month there was a Sagala (May ito), and I was in the choir. We were walking along, singing the hymn, when all of a sudden, my friend started squeezing my arm like she wanted to cut off my circulation. Turo siya ng turo sa taas...tapos when I looked up, there was this HUUUGE bird...or whatever...flying above! Almost everybody in the last row of the choir saw it...and there was one guy who said it had come from a nearby coconut tree. Hindi rin kasi puwedeng bird yon...kasi ang taas-taas ng lipad pero ang laki-laki nya...tapos black...EEEEEEEEK! Sobra, I slept with garlic beside me for the next month!
