Gender ng Namatay at Isa pang Pasyente

This didn't happen sa hospital but I have 2 co-JI's who both have third eye. And most of the time kasama namin sila so it's really creepy. One time, they were both driving along Tandang Sora, when they encountered heavy traffic. Yun pala, may nakasalubong sila na libing kaya mabagal ang takbo. Then my guy friend asked my other friend, "Anne, sa tingin mo lalaki o babae?" So hindi naintindihan nung isa kong friend who was driving at that time what he meant, inulit nya ang question, "Ask ko kung ano sa tingin mo yung namatay, girl o boy?" Then my friend answered, "Hindi ko alam." To which my other friend replied, "Lalaki, dumaan kasi sila diba, nakita ko sa window side mo, naglalakad din sya kasama mga pamilya nya. "My guy friend is more sensitive to those than my gal friend, pero kahit na, ayaw ko pa din sila kasama pag ganun.

I remember, I was still a Junior Intern nun, Pedia rotation, we were having our endorsement rounds with the residents and consultants. We entered the room, pang isahan lang ang room, leukemia patient ang admitted dun. Then tuloy ang rounds. then biglang nag-react yung consultant telling everyone (JI, PGI, Residents on duty), "Ba't pinagsama nyo ang dalawang patient sa room na ito? Immunocompromised ang pasyente ko so dapat mag-isa lang sya na nandito sa loob. Ba't naghalo pa kayo ng isa?" We were all surprised 'coz mag-isa lang naman talaga ang patient na nandun. Then one resident bravely asked the consultant, "Sir, ano po ba mukha and hitsura nung sinasabi mo na isa pang pasyente?" The consultant replied, "Ayan o, nakatingin pa sa atin, nakasando na puti, naka-shorts, tapos hawak ang IV fluid nya, wala man lang kayong isa pang IV stand na nilagay dito." We were all silent. After the rounds, all of us were still quiet. The consultant thought na we're hurt kasi nagalit sya, so he approached us and sabi "Hindi ako galit ha, ayaw ko lang kasi na may ka-share sa room ang patient ko, alam nyo naman sakit nya diba?." Then one resident said, "Sir, hindi po yun ang dahilan ba't tahimik kami, wala naman po talagang kasama ang patient nyo, kahit i-check nyo po sa list of patients sa station." Imagine the shock nung consultant, mabait pa naman yun.

We also found out na the person whom the consultant saw was the previous patient who occupied the room, apparently, succumbed also 2 days prior nung admission ng patient nya.
