Shuichis pov
We sat in grandma and grandpas room in silence. Any minute now they were going to pass away and we had to be there to say goodbye.
"go on kids. Say goodbye to granny and grandad" kokichi said gently to the kids. They nodded and walked up to them.
"goodbye grandma and grandpa" sayori said taking grandma's hand and jumping back after feeling how cold it was.
"bye bye" kiba cryed.
Kokichi picked him up and took sayoris hand "guys I think it's best if I take the kids outside. They shouldn't have to be around for this"
"that's a good idea honey" I nodded "you go ahead. Me and kaito will stay here" he nodded and left with the kids.
We watched their chest go up and down as the heart monitor continued to beep.
Beep... beep... beep... beeeep
Our hearts sank as the heart monitor flat lined.
Kaito stood up but immediately fell to the knees and let out a raw, painful cry. I've never seen kaito cry as much as he has in these past three months. I can't imagine the amount of pain he's going through.
I held him close as he continued to scream into my chest.
