He's not mean tho, and rn he looks younger obviously cuz he's like four.
Y/n's pov

"His dad's fine with us taking him to Tokyo," Kei says.

"Dai!" Kasumi yells at the top of her lungs, running over to him. "I missed you so much!"

"Hi Kasumi," he says.

Not the most energetic kid, but then again Kasumi is on one so he's probably just normal.

"This is my mom over here, you've never met her before," she says pulling him over to me. "She's really nice, she's gonna make us food, you can call her Y/n. Wait that right, he can call you that right mom?"

"Yeah that's fine," I say. "It's nice to meet you Dai, how's your day today?"

"Can I have water please?" he asks.

"Yeah sure, I'll get you some," I say.

Wow, he's got some manners.

"Wait I can get it," Kasumi says. "I can help."

"Let me grab a glass," Kei says.

"No no!" she yells running off the grab the dining room chair. "I can do it all by myself, I can do it, mister."

Okay then, you go I guess Kasumi. She really dragged that chair into the kitchen, climbed onto it, grab a glass, and threw it at Dai. Thank god he caught it.

"Kasumi, you cannot throw glasses like that," I say. "What if it broke."

"It won't break," she shakes her head, pushing the chair back. "Dai is good at catching, because when we're older and we do pair skating he's gonna have to catch me. Right, Dai?"

"Uh-huh," he nods his head.

"Good," Kasumi says taking his glass to fill it up.

"Thank you," he says.

"Okay Dai, this is your first time at my place, what should we do while my mom cooks?" Kasumi asks. "And don't worry, the food will be good since mister is watching her."

Gee, thanks.

"You should roll up your pants Kasumi, you could fall," he says.

Why the hell are these children speaking so well, kinda odd... Whatever.

"Oh Dai," she says dramatically leaning over to fix her pants. "I'm not fixing them because you told me to, I'm only doing it because I am the best."

You're just like me for real.

"Sounds like someone I know," Kei says.

"Anyway Dai, what should we do?" she asks again.

"We can go and play criminal minds," he says.

What?

"Oh my god I love that game," she says. "Dai, you're so smart for remembering what game I like, you can be Spencer this time okay?"

"Okay," he nods his head.

"You can go and wait in my room, it's upstairs, there's a big dinosaur painting on the door," she says.

"Okay," he nods his head. "Am I allowed to bring dishes into your room?"

"Yeah you can bring your cup," I say. "Have fun."

"Do you like Dai mom?" Kasumi asks after he's gone upstairs.

"Yeah, he's nice," I say. "You chose a good friend."

"Okay good," she nods her head. "He's not always quiet, and he likes juice better but he won't ask for any, he like orange juice. Oh and he doesn't like boiled eggs, so don't give him boiled eggs because he'll eat them anyway. Also, his birthday is March eighteenth so one month after mine."

"Okay, good to know," I say. "Anything else I should know?"

"He eats rice with everything," she says. "Even ravioli."

"That's fine, there's always rice made," I say.

"And you have to put lots of food in his bowl because he's gonna give me some and it needs to equal out," she says.

Odd, but okay.

"Is there anything else?" I ask.

"No, that's all for right now," she says turning to run upstairs. "Dai I hope you didn't start the game without me!"

"He's nice," I say.

"Mhm," Kei nods his head.

"So, you gonna tell me what's up with his dad?" I ask.

"His name is, Arata," he says.

"Okay, I want more information than that," I say.

"Don't talk to him, or go over there," he says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"I don't like him, that's why," he says. "So don't go over there."

"Kei, you're gonna have to give me a reason," I say. "Because now you just sound like an asshole."

"I don't like him," he says again.

"Why?" I ask. "Why is it that you hate this guy, his son is fine, what's wrong?"

"You won't like him either, he's odd," he says. "Just don't go over there, and Kasumi can't go over unless it's the nanny there."

"Why? Is he a bad guy?" I ask.

"I don't know, I just don't like him," he says. "I don't have a reason, he just gives off weird vibes, so I'd prefer it if you didn't go over there."

"What do you mean, weird vibes?" I ask. "What's that supposed to even mean?"

"It means don't go over there," he says. "Okay?"

"Yeah fine," I sigh. "Then will you introduce me to him."

"No," he says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because," he says.

"Fine," I say.

"Don't go over there, promise?" he asks.

"Yeah, I promise," I say.

"Uncross your fingers," he says. "And anything else."

Hoe.

"I promise," I say.
