Y/n's pov

Ah, nothing like a nice march morning, well, if you define nice as trying to calm down a crying child.

"Please mom, you can't make me go into kindergarten, all the kids there are slobs and idiots," she sobs. "Please mom, I can't. Dad, the teacher is mean too, I don't want to go, I want to be in Dai's class."

"Kasumi, Dai is older than you, he's in a different class," Kei says. "You can see him at recess, don't cry, school is fun."

"No please," she says gripping onto my shirt. "I need to be in Dai's class, please, I'll be good I'll do all my work, I promise. Don't make me go back in there."

"Kasumi, why don't you want to go back in there?" I ask wiping her face. "If you're nervous by yourself, I'll come and sit in the class with you."

"The teacher is mean to me," she says. "I want a new teacher, please, mom she's mean."

"Come on Kasumi, she can't be all that mean," Kei says. "All teachers are kinda mean, we'll go in with you."

"She said that I was a bastard child," she cries. "Please dad, I don't want to go back in there."

"Okay, you can go to class with Dai," Kei says. "You don't need kindergarten anyway."

I guess she's in grade one now.

-

"Dai!" she yells as I set her down in the classroom.

"Kasumi, we have to use our inside voice," he says walking over to her. "Mr. Sugawara said so."

Suga?

"Oh Y/n, it's nice to see you," Sugawara says. "Where's Tsukishima?"

"Probably getting mad at some teacher," I say. "She said some rude stuff to Kasumi, made her cry, and now she's apparently skipping a grade."

"I bet it was that Yamazaki," he says. "God I hate her, eats my lunch every day, well she used to anyway until I started putting fish oil in it, sent her right to the hospital. I'd like to see her try to eat my food again, I'll put something with some long-term effects in there."

Coldhearted.

"Mr. Suga, I made you a drawing," I girl says holding it up to him.

"Wow, I love it," he says. "Oh and look you even put your name and my name, what excellent writing."

Bro.

"Anyway, I hate that lady," he says. "She's rotten, and I hope she gets fired."

"Well, she's probably gonna get fired soon," I say. "Just last week someone at my company was acting out of line and he fired them, and I'm the boss."

"Good, hope she gets fired," he says. "She gives me anger problems, and if I hated my job she'd have two black eyes."

"Okay, problem solved," Kei says walking into the classroom. "Oh, hey Sugawara."

"How exactly did you solve the problem?" I ask.

"I talked to the principal, so Kasumi can stay here in this class. She's smart enough to skip a grade," he says. "Don't worry, it's all fine."

"Well, what did you do?" I ask. "Schools don't just bend over backwards."

"I just made a donation, for the kids of course," he says. "Don't worry about it, now come on."

"Kei," I say. "You can't do that."

"Well, I just did," he says. "So oh well, bye Sugawara it was nice seeing you. Call if Kasumi needs us, we'll be there as soon as possible, she's loud so my apologies in advance."

"I've been dealing with loud my entire life," he laughs. "One dose of Noya and Tanaka haS prepared me for this."

"Well then you have fun, but watch out she'll tell all the kids that Santa, the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny isn't real," I say quietly. "She knows too much, she'll make some kids cry."

"Mr. Sugawara, what is pre-marital sex?" a kid asks.

"And that's our queue to leave," I say taking Kei's hand. "Bye-bye."

Okay, I'm not gonna do anything.
