Thank you for checking me out. Back in June of 2020, while in lock down, I began to write. I have never written anything really beyond assignments back in school years ago. I had no idea what I was doing and I still don't but I am trying to learn.
I am a huge Tolkien fan and have been since I was 6 years old. So when this idea began to bounce around in my head and wouldn't go away, I just sat down and started banging away at the keys.
I am presenting you with the first draft. Its pretty raw and will need editing and rewriting but I would love to get feedback on the story itself. I hope you enjoy it.
Update, 3-16-22, Some editing has begun. I am finally seeing a lot of mistakes and understanding why I make them. I am working on fixing those now.
Update, 3-23-22, Sadly I lost my mentor, who was helping me and who was teaching me about the editing and rewriting part of the process. So I will sojourn on alone and learn as much as I can along the way.
