Clarke and Bellamy were bickering about the wrist bands once again. I kept off to the side, trying to keep the attention off of my wrist band. Just in time, Finn appeared from behind us.

"We got a lot of ground to cover, split up. You're with me Clarke," he broke up the debacle.

Damn, now I was stuck with Bellamy, Wells and Murphy. I tried to keep my distance from the three of them, not wanting to get involved in whatever they were talking about. That was until Bellamy slowed down to walk beside me.

"Octavia said you pulled her out of that water," he started.

"No one else knew how to swim," my voice was surprisingly calm. I guess the walking diffused my anger a bit.

"O was right," he looked over to me now.

I could feel the confusion on my face, "about what?"

He huffed out a small chuckle, "you don't know how to accept thank you's."

I rolled my eyes at him saying this, taking my glare back to my feet. I could still feel him looking at me though.

"No more thanking me, or else it will be never ending," I joked. Bellamy just slightly shook his head as his gaze returned to the path.

"What is that noise coming from you?" He questioned. I didn't realize how loud my knives were clanging together in my baggy pockets.

"Knives," I answered truthfully. His eyes were still curious, I could tell he wanted to see.

I reached down into my pocket to pull them all out.

"You know how to use those?" He sounded skeptical.

"I may be out of practice, I couldn't use these in the Skybox," I admitted. At the same time, I was pretty confident in my skills with knife throwing. My dad taught me how to make make them out of anything and more importantly how to throw them. We practiced every single day since I was ten years old. My mom always got mad at us for ruining several of her hard book covers.

"Well," Bellamy said. He really wanted me to prove myself apparently. I glanced to a tree about twenty feet out and spotted a knot in it. I turned to face it, releasing the knife from my fingers smoothly. It landed exactly where I wanted it to, right in the center of the tree knot.

I knew he didn't want to seem impressed, but it did show through his expression the tiniest bit. Honestly, it actually made me feel pretty good about myself.

"What other deadly skills do you have?" Bellamy asked as he went to retrieve my knife.

I slipped the remaining four back into their home, "that's it." He made his way back to me with the knife. As I grabbed it back from him, we could hear a weak cry for help.

"Jasper," I told Bellamy with concern flushing my face. We both immediately took off running, the others heard it too since they were now running behind us. Jasper came into our view and I picked up my pace.

My stomach dropped as the ground seemingly gave out on me, a small scream escaping. Thankfully, there was a strong arm gripping mine preventing me from falling further, "I got you."

I stared at Bellamy's dark brown eyes, his face scrunching as he heaved me back on to the grass with others now helping. As soon as I was on the surface, I peered over into the ditch I fell into. My breath hitched at the sight of spears that would have pierced right through me if it weren't for Bellamy. I felt a hand on my back insinuating that I should stop looking down at what almost happened. The same hand helped me from my knees to my feet, I gave Bellamy a grateful nod.

After we retrieved Jasper and Wells annihilated a panther, I was too stunned to speak a word about it, we finally made it back to camp. First thing I did was look for Octavia before Bellamy got the chance to. He had to deal with the panther for now.

I made my way to behind the drop ship and spotted Octavia, but she was running off into the woods with her so called 'babysitter.' I just laughed to myself and turned around to get back to where the food was.

Unfortunately, I did not like what I had to see when I returned. People were lined up for meat, but in exchange for their wrist bands. I pulled the small back pack I had on off my body. I ate the little amount of fruit I had picked on our trek back home instead of giving into Bellamy's and Murphy's plan.

I sat on a rock, eating what I had and watching the line start to dwindle to less and less people as the pile of metal bracelets grew on the ground. I tried to hold my tears in, but every time I saw a bracelet land I lost a little more hope in ever seeing my parents again.

I caught Bellamy's eyes, he noticed that I had no meat in my hands. Before he could speak, Murphy weaseled his way into our little staring contest.

"You can't just live off berries Kota!" He said, making sure it was loud enough for me to hear. I shook my head while giving one more look towards Bellamy. I then stood up and went to find a comfortable spot to shut my eyes in the drop ship.
