I had been sitting in a room with Raven as she worked on several things Clarke had asked her to do. I wanted to keep her company and help if I could, but I also wanted to be close to the radio.

"It's been longer than three hours," I worried to Raven as she was staring at the dam blue prints.

"It's okay Kota, Bellamy will be fine," Raven said back to me nonchalantly, I could tell her mind was running laps about other things. There was silence for a moment before I spoke again.

"My mom said you were the one who found me. Thank you," I was looking at the back of her head, but she turned around to face me when I said this.

"You saved me. Twice. It was the least I could do," she said, but I didn't get the chance to say much else about it. Clarke came bursting into the room, she looked really stressed.

"Has Bellamy radioed an update yet?" She questioned.

"Not yet," I answered disappointingly. Clarke shifted her look to Raven and what she was doing.

"Why are you focusing on the dam? Our priority should be the acid fog," Clarke fired at Raven.

"I can't do much until Bellamy gets to it," Raven told her.

"How many tone generators have you made?" Clarke asked.

"Only two, those things don't grow on trees," Raven was getting annoyed with Clarke's fury.

"Kota? Are you there?" The radio sounded. I quickly snatched it up to respond.

"I'm here. Clarke needs you to get the acid fog shut down," I let him know.

"There's a bigger problem. They're picking off our people one by one from the dorms. Maya and I are trying to find a way to get to the lab where they're taking them," Bellamy sounded like he was in a rush. This was a huge problem and I felt useless sitting here while our friends got taken.

"Keep checking in with us as planned," Clarke said as she grabbed the radio out of my hand.

"Give me back to Kota," Bellamy demanded. Clarke may be in charge, but I was Bellamy's person.

"Sassy," Raven mumbled as Clarke handed the radio back to me.

"She's right, you need to keep checking in," I admitted.

"I'm going mobile, I'll have a radio on me at all times," Bellamy told us. This made my nerves calm down a little more. I stared at Raven's map of Mount Weather on the board and got an idea.

"Use the vents," I gave an option for him to get to the lab where our people were being brought to.

"Maya says it'll be tight but I could do it. I'm going to need directions from your end," Bellamy came through.

"On it," Raven said from behind me.

We led Bellamy through the vents, but came to a stop when we heard something concerning on the radio.

"Is that a drill?" I asked anyone who was listening.

"Bone marrow extraction," Clarke stated with fear in her voice.

We could faintly hear a women's voice from Bellamy's end, "ready for the last treatment you'll ever have Emerson?"

I looked back to see Clarke, "isn't he the guy we had here?" I remembered her briefly saying his name before.

"I sent him back to give them a message," Clarke stated.

We listened closely as president Wallace's son conversed with Emerson. I could feel the color drain from my face when he said that they were going to hit the grounder village with a missile.

"Please tell me you heard all of that," Bellamy said once he left that area.

"We heard it," I replied.

"Did Kane take a radio?" Clarke asked Raven.

"No, this is the only one with an unjammed frequency. We need to keep it open to talk to Bellamy," Raven answered.

Clarke motioned to hand her the radio, so I did. "I can get there in time to warn them. When I get back I need that acid fog to be down," Clarke said.

"Octavia was in Tondc, is she back?" I could hear Bellamy ask.

"She's here," Clarke replied with no hesitation, I could feel a frown settle on my lips. She set the radio back down.

"You lied," I pointed out to her, knowing Octavia went to Tondc for the meeting.

"So did you. Like you said, he has a job to do," Clarke said back to me, then she turned to leave the room but didn't get too far. Raven put her arm on her to give her a hug and I joined in.

"Don't get blown up," Raven said as we all released each other.

What Clarke said made me feel pretty guilty about not telling Bellamy the truth, but at the same time if he got distracted it could be detrimental to all of us. On the other hand, Octavia's situation was different from mine. She could be in danger soon whereas my danger had already happened. I knew I was going to be fine, we didn't know if Octavia would be.

Once Clarke left, Raven turned to look at me, "I need to teach you how to make the tone generators so I can figure out this damn fog."

I am not a mechanic whatsoever so I knew it would be difficult for her to teach me how to do it, but I agreed nonetheless. I was also a really quick learner so I was confident I'd be able to do it once Raven showed me how.

Raven spent two hours making another tone generator. She probably would have done faster if I didn't keep telling her to slow down. I took step by step notes of everything she did so I could replicate it exactly.

"You think you can handle making one on your own?" She asked once we were finished.

"I guess we'll find out," I was a little skeptical of my own abilities.

"You're looking a little better. The swelling went down," Raven changed the topic as her eyes bounced around my features.

I let out a little laugh knowing how horrible my face still looked.

"Wanna see something worse than my face?" I said as I stood up from the seat. I pulled up my shirt to show her the discolored side of my body. It was a deep purple running from the top of my hip all the way up my rib cage from Mason laying a kick into me.

"Damn girl. Did you at least get a hit in?" Raven tried to play off her stunned expression.

I released my shirt back to its normal position and answered, "yeah and I ripped out a bunch of his hair actually."

"Did you know him?" Her smile faded to seriousness.

"Yeah from the Ark, we kind of dated. It's a long story," I finished. I did not want to explain to Raven right now what that man has done to me and she seemed to understand that.

"Okay get to work, otherwise Clarke might give you another beating," Raven said as she turned back to her work station.
