"Commander, please accept this gift from us," Kane held out a bottle of liquor to her across the table.

I don't know how they were all willing to eat after lighting a bonfire of dead bodies. I had no appetite due to the smell lingering in my nose.

"Thank you Marcus of the Sky People," Lexa accepted his gesture and Gustus grabbed it from Kane. Lexa then took it from him and poured the liquid into two glasses. She handed one glass to Clarke when she finished pouring it and they both raised them.

"To those we have lost and to those who we will soon find," Lexa toasted. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she held so much power.

"Heda, allow me," Gustus said as he grabbed her glass to sample. He handed it back to her after, Clarke and Lexa held a stare before bringing the glass up to their lips.

All of a sudden, Gustus fell forward. I watched with wide eyes as he hit the table, then the floor.

"Poison!" I heard Indra yell. Bellamy tried to grab me, but grounders already had a hold on us searching our clothing and pockets.

"We didn't do this!" I heard Clarke trying to tell Lexa. I struggled against the grounder holding onto me, then the grounder yelled like he was in pain. I was confused as to why, but his grip stayed strong on me so I couldn't look around much.

I heard Bellamy yelling, "Bear! Safe!" My eyes darted towards my feet, I saw Bear releasing his jaw from the grounder's leg. I looked back to Bellamy with a grateful glare, Bear attacking could have made things so much worse for all of us.

"Here!" I heard a grounder announce. He held up a vial that presumably came from Raven's jacket pocket. Raven was grieving, but she wouldn't risk doing something like this.

I was finally released and thankful the grounder didn't retaliate against my dog. "I'm telling you we didn't do this Lexa," Clarke begged the commander to listen to her.

Lexa's voice boomed, "no Sky Person leaves this room!" They marched out while locking the gate on us, Bellamy ran over to me and scanned my body to make sure I wasn't injured.

"Raven didn't do this," I said as I saw a skeptical Clarke looking at her.

"She wanted me to kill Lexa yesterday," Clarke pointed out. Raven reacted with punching Clarke in the face.

"You're the only murder here," her voice was shaking from her tears that were now spilling.

"Stop! Raven didn't do anything!" Bellamy's voice rose. Clarke was holding her cheek as she stood up straight again.

"We know we didn't do this," Kane told all of us. "We need to figure out who else would want Lexa dead."

"A lot of people want her dead," Lincoln spoke up. "An alliance with you was risky. Especially after what Finn did."

My head turned quickly at the sound of the gate opening and Bellamy stepped in front of me when the grounders entered.

"She didn't do it," Octavia tried to tell them as they grabbed onto Raven.

"The commander only wants one, you're lucky. You are free to leave. When she's dead so is this alliance," Indra said as they took Raven away. We all went to follow them and watched as they tied her up to a wooden post just like they did with Finn.

I was panicking as they finished tying her up. Lexa approached with a knife drawn and rose it up to Raven's arm. Raven wailed as Lexa sliced into her skin. I felt dizzy at the thought of losing her too. I ran back into the dining hall.

I was frantically searching for the two metal wine glasses that were thrown to the floor.

"Kota what are you doing?" I heard Bellamy from behind me.

"I'm proving that Raven's innocent," I said as I found Clarke's glass.

"What do you need?" Bellamy asked so he could help.

"That stupid bottle of liquor," I replied grabbing Lexa's cup. Bellamy went out of the dining hall to get it.

"Bear," I called and held Clarke's glass up to his nose to smell. He had no reaction to her's so I lifted Lexa's. Bellamy reentered the room now and I saw he held the bottle in his hand. When Bear smelt Lexa's glass, he sat down and started to whine.

"It was in her glass Bellamy," I turned to him.

"You're too damn smart," Bellamy said under his breath and held out the bottle to me. I took it as we made our way back out.

"Stop!" I yelled, I was immediately surrounded with swords so I stopped in my tracks. Lexa had turned to face me and approached. "I can prove we didn't do it."

She stood waiting for me to show her. I opened the bottle and took a large swig from it, more than I needed to because honestly I wanted the alcohol in me. I stayed still as the swords lowered and everyone was waiting to see if anything would happen to me.

When nothing did, Lexa spoke, "explain." Clarke came up from behind me now.

"Your cup was poisoned. Not the bottle. One of your own people did this," Clarke told her, realizing what I had just proved. Bellamy came up to my side as Gustus was speaking to Lexa in another language.

"You did it," Bellamy said to Gustus.

"He sampled it. He searched Raven when we came in," I backed Bellamy.

Lexa turned to look at Gustus and said something I couldn't understand.

"This alliance would have caused you death, Heda," he tried to defend himself. I didn't give a crap about what these people said to each other at this point. Bellamy and I ran over to Raven to get her down.

She latched her arms around me once Bellamy cut them free. Her blood began to cover my clothes as I hugged her back.

"Thank you," she sobbed into me. Bellamy helped me take her off to the side. Abby began to bandage her skin as they put Gustus up on the post.

My stomach churned watching them kill that man in this way. I felt a lot more respect towards Clarke that she gave Finn a much less painful death than this.

"How'd you know he did it?" I watched Bellamy's eyes as they looked back at me. The flames of the camp fire lit them up beautifully.

"He'd do anything to protect her. I know a little something about that," his voice was calm. I leaned my head towards him, softly placing my lips on his. He kissed me back with the same amount of pressure.

"Guys! Listen to this," Raven was running out of her tent with the radio in hand. This caused Bellamy and I to pull apart from each other. Everyone was quiet so we could hear what the radio was saying.

I felt so much relief hearing that it was Jasper, that they were still alive.

"Say something back," Clarke instructed to Raven.

"It's repeating. I can't," Raven replied.

"We need to do this now," Bellamy was referring to attacking Mount Weather.

"We need to have an inside man to do this," Clarke stared right at him.

"Bellamy no," I immediately turned to him.

"We can't be weak right now Kota," I heard Clarke say from out of my view.

"I am not weak," I spat back to Clarke and it shut her up.

Bellamy grabbed my arms in his warm hands, "you're strong Kota. I have to do this to get our friends back. I will make it back to you."

I felt tears dripping down my face at his words. I knew this is what needed to be done to win against Mount Weather, I just wished it wasn't. "Promise me," I whispered so my voice wouldn't crack.

"I promise," he said with his entire heart.
