I was still facing Bellamy as Monty detailed what we had went through against Mount Weather. He was wearing an expression I didn't really like and he could tell I was questioning it.
"I have a stupid idea," he stated quietly. I just stared back at him, waiting for him to explain it. "There's dead Ice Nation soldiers out there. I can grab their clothes and blend into the army. We need to keep looking before it's too late."
"I'm coming with you," I said back with a whisper. He had an immediate look of disapproval. "I'm not separating from you."
"Kota, it's dangerous. And Bear can't go out there, they'll notice him," Bellamy tried to convince me out of it.
"Bear will stay with Monty," I said, knowing Bellamy was looking for any reason for me not to come along. "They're distracted now. We either go or we don't."
"Do not leave my side," Bellamy ordered even though he didn't want to, he was slightly shaking his head. I told Bear his command to stay before sneaking out of the cave behind Bellamy. I found him stripping off the clothing and masks from the fallen Azgeda warriors.
He threw some towards me and I started to dress myself. Once we were clothed in the enemies attire, we took off into the army. I followed close behind Bellamy as a herd of people began to accumulate around us. We definitely looked the part, so we got through smoothly.
As soon as we were in the clear, Bellamy led us towards a staircase. I spotted the fresh blood he was looking at that was on the concrete railing. He motioned me to slowly follow him down.
Once we entered, we spotted a girl with blond hair tied up against a pillar. We had found her.
"Kota please listen to me and hide behind there," Bellamy pleaded while pointing to another pillar. "I can't let anything happen to you."
I didn't want to listen to him, but I knew he was nervous there could be someone else in here we don't know about. I nodded and complied. I posted up behind the pillar, making sure I could see both Bellamy and Clarke.
Once Bellamy saw that I was secure, he ran up to Clarke. Seeing her shocked eyes look at Bellamy as he took the gag off of her made me grin a little.
Out of nowhere, a large man came in and hit Bellamy hard in the back. Bellamy was knocked down right away and scrambled to get his gun out. My hands reached for my knives as the man stepped on his hand with the weapon.
The man held a knife over Bellamy chest as Clarke begged for him to let Bellamy go. I was about to release my knife until I saw Bellamy's free hand. He was signing the word 'stay' to me.
I taught Bellamy sign language within the past few months. He didn't want to at first, but when I explained how useful it could be, he let me teach him. He got really into it as well, it made me feel good that I could honor my mom with passing on her knowledge.
We agreed sign language would be between us two and to not teach anyone else. We also agreed to treat it as commands, like Bear's commands, in dangerous situations. If one person signed to the other, the receiver was supposed to listen no matter what. That's why the knife never left my hand.

I was feeding Bear in our room as Bellamy walked in. He looked exhausted from the day but happy to see me.
"Hey Kota," his voice was soft.
"Hi," I said back to him lightly. I walked over to wrap my arms around him and he returned it right away. Hugs were never enough for him though, so he pulled away just to lean his lips onto mine.
"I went to visit your mom today," he said after he lifted his head back up. He moved a piece of my hair behind my ears. Bellamy visited my mom a lot, he claims it's to make sure her grave is well kept but I was pretty sure he talked to her when I wasn't there. "The seeds you planted are blooming."
I smiled as he told me this. I planted wildflower seeds all over her grave. It gave me comfort to plant those over her. She almost loved the beauty of nature as much as she loved me and my dad.
"I was thinking I could teach you something," I proposed as I took a seat on the mattress.
"Oh yeah?" He instigated with an eyebrow raised.
"Sign language," I said as I watched him remove his jacket to get comfortable.
"Talking with my hands?" He didn't sound to convinced.
"It's very useful," I replied to him.
"I don't know about that," he half laughed.
"Oh come on. It's helped us before you just didn't know it at the time," I pointed out.
"You're right," he responded as he slid his shoes off. "You're always right."
"What every girl dreams of hearing," I said with a small laugh. My comment made his smile grow.
"Sure I'll learn it," he agreed while approaching me.
"Good we'll start right now," I told him while looking up towards his kind face.
"I think we should start tomorrow," his voice got deep and he dipped his head down to mine. He placed a strong kiss onto my lips before barely pulling away. "This is all I want to do tonight."
I giggled as he went to kiss me once more. I let go of the topic of beginning to teach him today because this was all I wanted to do tonight too now that he already started.

I wish I hadn't listened to Bellamy's sign. I watched in horror as the man plunged a blade into his thigh. My hand flung up to my mouth to muffle the noise that came out of it.
"Don't follow us. Next time I'll kill you," the man threatened Bellamy. I wanted to run to him when I heard his deafening scream, but I stayed in place. I knew with Bellamy injured that I had no chance in hell of beating this man in a fight.
I watched him exit the space with Clarke being dragged behind him. When I was sure that it was clear, I sprinted to Bellamy.
"You shouldn't have told me to stay put," I told him as I ripped a piece of my shirt off.
"I'm just glad you listened," he replied and winced as I tightened the fabric on his wound.
I moved so Bellamy could put his arm around my shoulders. Getting him up was the hardest part, but once we started walking it got a little easier to support him.
I led us through the woods back towards the cave, even though Bellamy told me we should continue to go after Clarke.
I felt an insane amount of relief when I saw Bear running towards us through the trees. The others in our group soon came into view after Bear.
"What happened?" Kane asked as he rushed over to us and took Bellamy's weight off of me.
"We found her," I revealed through heavy breathing.
"We were so close. We need to keep going," Bellamy said as he gripped his injured thigh. I shot him a dirty look and he took notice of it.
"They'll know we're following now. There's no use," Pike said.
"We're going home. Don't fight it," my voice was steady when telling Bellamy this. I couldn't think about anything until we got him back to med bay.
