There was knocking on the door and Miller looked over to us before he stood up to open it. This let me know they weren't expecting visitors. Harper and I stood up too as he creaked the door open.
"What do you want?" Miller asked whoever was on the other side. There was not a word spoken, but Miller let them in.
Bellamy came in with Monty following. He looked a little surprised I was in here, but still said nothing.
Once Miller closed the door, Bellamy approached him carefully with a blade in his hand. Miller jumped backwards while Harper went to draw her gun. Bellamy held his hands up to ensure he wasn't going to cause any harm.
Both Miller and Bellamy turned to look at me as if I should give the go ahead or not. I nodded to Miller to let him know it was okay and I saw Harper release her hand from the holster.
Bellamy cut open Miller's jacket pocket and handed the knife to him when he was finished. Miller threw the knife away as Bellamy pulled a mic out. He handed the small bug to Monty who put it in a bag.
"Bag blocks the signal. We can talk now," Monty told us.
"Nothing to talk about," I spat. I was pissed about what happened with Bear and Bellamy knew it. He was looking back and forth from me and my dog.
"Kota... Pike told me you wouldn't get food if Bear did. He didn't give me a choice," he tried explaining.
"Shut. Up." My voice was harsh and steady, there wasn't a good enough reason that could make up for this. Bear was our responsibility, both of us took care of him and Bellamy dishonored that. Bellamy was clenching his jaw, he had a look of regret and sorrow.
He couldn't handle looking at me anymore because he turned back to Miller, "Pike sentenced Kane, Sinclair and Lincoln to death."
I felt my breath hitch at his words. I wanted to smack him in the face. Why couldn't he realize that he was part of making this happen?
"We know you guys have a plan to get them out," Monty stated.
"We don't know what you're talking about," Miller responded. I kept my heated glare on Bellamy's face.
Bellamy turned his head to look back to me, "we can help them from the inside."
"We don't know what you're talking about," Miller repeated firmly. We honestly didn't even have much of a plan set in place yet.
"After everything we've been through together, you don't believe us?" Monty asked. I thought I'd always be able to trust Monty, but I thought that about Bellamy too. The things they've done made their trust extremely questionable.
"Does your mom know you're here Monty?" Harper questioned and crossed her arms. Monty answered the question with his silence.
"If my sister wants to save Lincoln's life, then tell her to meet me at the drop ship," Bellamy stated as he left the room. Monty soon followed him out the door.
"Please tell me you have communication with Octavia," I said to Miller.
"We do," Miller confirmed. I held out my hand for him to give me the radio to Octavia. Miller reached to unlatch it from his belt and gave it to me.
"Octavia, come in," I spoke into metal box.
Almost instantly I got a reply, "there you are. I've been waiting to hear from you. Miller told me about Mason."
"I'm sorry I haven't been able to talk to you," I said back with a sigh. I realized I had to tell her the worst news, I had to take a breath. "Octavia, Lincoln is set to be executed."
