A few days went by in Polis before Octavia showed her face. She was recovering from her infection due to the worm. When she finally came outside, I was glad to get a chance to talk to her about Echo. I quickly went to look for Bellamy and asked if he knew where Echo was. We found her talking to Harper and let her know that if she wanted to talk to Octavia, it had to be now.

Bellamy, Bear, Echo and I all approached her and Cooper. Octavia was clearly not excited about this encounter, "what is she doing here?"

"I just wanted to thank you for saving my people," Echo told her, her tone was calm but assertive.

"They're not your people," Octavia spat. "Azgeda is a memory. There is only Wonkru, and there is no place in it for you."

"Octavia, Echo is on our side. She's proved that over and over again on the Ring," I defended.

"This isn't the Ring," Octavia didn't care what I had to say. I was used to her always taking my word on things, it made me feel so distant from her when she wouldn't listen to me seriously. "Wonkru, I banished this murderer from the bunker six years ago! My judgement still stands."

"O," Bellamy sounded disappointed from her declaration.

"She has twenty-four hours. If she's still here by then, she fights in the arena," Octavia threatened, staring at Echo.

Octavia turned to start marching away from us. Bellamy turned his head to look at me, "let me handle this."

I agreed with him, letting him go after Octavia without me trailing behind. I could hear him yelling at her briefly, but the sound of a horn took my attention away from that. I looked over to see Bellamy and Octavia both staring at the sky. I craned my head up to see the transport ship flying closer to us.

"Oh shit," I mumbled.

"Kota! Get in the bunker!" Octavia shouted towards me, bringing my attention back to the siblings. I shook my head no to Bellamy, he knew I wasn't going to go in there without Echo. I could hear Octavia telling Bellamy to also get to safety in the bunker.

"Not without Kota," Bellamy voiced loudly to his sister as he took off towards us. I grabbed Echo's arm and told Bear to follow us, I knew Bellamy was right behind. I led us into a nook of a building as the prisoner transport ship hovered above us.

Bellamy held onto me tightly as we watched something drop out of the ship. Those weren't missiles though, they had parachutes attached to them to soften the landing.

"We're not under attack," I said to both Bellamy and Echo. The ship continued on out of our sight and the others stopped to watch instead of rushing into the bunker. When the first crate hit the ground, a piece of it popped open revealing an extraordinary amount of food.

There was a microphone on top of the crate that squeaked before making an announcement. "People of Wonkru, this is colonel Diyoza offering you a chance for peace. I know you all suffered, I know you're hungry, and so many of you are weary of Octavia's rule. But now you have a choice. Abandon your weapons, leave Wonkru behind, and join us in Shallow Valley. We have plenty of food and shelter for those seeking a better life.  When our ship returns tonight, head for the wastelands. Anyone waiting for us outside the ruins will be rescued. But come unarmed. If Octavia attacks our ship, we will retaliate against your city with lethal force. We are always watching, please choose wisely."

Octavia had listened to enough, she picked up a sword and destroyed the megaphone to get it to shut up.

Clarke burst through the door where Octavia was speaking to her group. I followed behind her, Bellamy, Monty and Harper came too. Miller tried to stop us from coming all the way in, but Octavia allowed it.
