"You fucking did it," I practically whispered to Raven as a voice came through the radio from the Ark.
"We need Dr. Abby Griffin," Raven reported back through the radio. Now Abby and Clarke were talking about Finn's injury, assessing what steps they need to take to save him.
"The storm's getting bigger, we need to shut the door," I heard a girl say.
"No, not yet. We still have people out there," I said back. The only person on my mind who was out there was Bellamy. As Clarke and Raven were sanitizing the tools with the moonshine Octavia brought in, Bellamy entered the ship. I walked up to him at the sight of the grounder who took Octavia. He was tied up and had a blindfold on.
"What the hell are you doing?" Octavia's voice boomed, she walked towards them alongside me.
"We're getting intel," Bellamy stated while dragging the man to the ladder. I could hear Octavia yelling back to him but it wasn't processing in my mind. I just followed Bellamy and the rest of his crew up the ladder.
"This is not a good idea Bellamy," I said as I came through to the next level. He had already secured the grounder's wrists to chains attached to the drop ship walls.
"Stay out of it," he attempted to brush me off.
This made my teeth grit together, "tell me that one more time and we're going to have a problem."
He shifted his stance to look at me, but his attention was drawn away when he saw Octavia rise from the hatch.
"You're going to hurt someone who helped me," she spoke, her tone stern. I could see the grounder watching her face. Octavia attempted to grab onto Bellamy's arm, but he shook her off.
"Miller take her out of here. Kota too," he directed. Miller went to escort Octavia out as Bellamy stepped towards me. I pushed him backwards with little force as a warning.
"I'm not leaving, whatever you're going to do you're going to have to do it in front of me," I stood my ground. He said nothing in return, but walked to me once again. I didn't shove him away this time, hoping he had changed his mind about the situation. Instead, he reached his hand up to lightly cup the side of my neck with his thumb gently skimming over the bruises on my throat.
"He did this to you. You shouldn't care what happens to him," his voice had dropped in volume, but it was still fueled with fire. It hit me then that he was partially doing this because of what happened to me in the cave. He took his hand away and turned back to the grounder before I could say anything back to him.
I watched as Bellamy relentlessly questioned the bloodied man. My insides cringed every time he punched him. Then something caught my eye, the grounder's bag of stuff was laying against the wall. I got up to move towards it to see if he had anything that would give any answers as to who he was.
I picked up a small tin, opening the lid carefully. Inside of it were an abundance of vials filled with different liquids. I opened one to smell, it wreaked of herbs and dirt. They seemed to be medicinal, or more likely deadly, plant extractions. I put the vial back together and set it into the tin, closing the lid. I slipped the tin underneath a nearby blanket, I wasn't going to risk some dumbass destroying these when we could possibly figure out what they were and if they could help.
The next thing I grabbed was a notebook. The first page I flipped to was a stunning sketch of Octavia, he captured her beauty perfectly. I could hear the chains rattle as he lunged forward, his eyes staring into me. Before Bellamy could turn to see what I was doing, I ripped the picture of Octavia out and stuffed it into my jacket pocket.
"Looks like you found something he didn't want us to see," Bellamy noticed as he came over to where I was kneeling. I handed the journal up to him to look through and glanced back at the grounder. He continued to stare back at me, he knew exactly what page I ripped out of there.
Bellamy scoffed as he flipped through the pages, pointing things out as he observed the drawings, "he drew our camp, tallied how many people we have and how many are dead. He's been watching us since we got here." Bellamy dropped the book down to the ground, ready to use his fist again.
Clarke entered through the hatch which stopped Bellamy from advancing. If she was here and not crying, that meant she saved Finn. Clarke's eyes darted to me, "what the hell is going on?"
I shook my head subtly, not wanting to explain Bellamy's actions. My reaction made her whip her look toward the muscular boy.
"If he didn't hate us before, he hates us now," Clarke spat. Bellamy went back to pick up the notebook he previously tossed to the floor, bringing it over to Clarke to show her what we discovered.
"Clarke! He's seizing!" Raven cried from the lower level. Clarke quickly rushed down to help in any way she could. I had followed behind her but didn't go down the ladder, I just peered through the hole to see what was going on. I was worried that if I left, Bellamy would lock me out of here.
After a few moments, Finn's body stopped jerking. He was staring off into nothingness and green tinted drool fell from his lips.
"Oh my god," I whispered to myself realizing what was happening to him. I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts when I was being dragged away from the hatch from a hand gripping the back of my jacket. Once Bellamy pulled me away, he went to shut the door and wedged something in it to keep everyone out.
"Bellamy, something is going on with Finn. You need to open the door," I said frantically. He didn't seem too convinced until there was knocking on the other side from Clarke.
When he didn't move from his spot, I lost my temper, "he was poisoned Bellamy, open it!"
This made him listen to me as he told Miller to open it. Clarke stormed in holding the knife that was lodged into Finn up to the grounder's face.
"What was on this?" She asked.
Octavia was up here with us now too, "what are you talking about?"
She directed her question to Clarke but I answered, "he poisoned the blade, he knew Finn was going to die this whole time."
"Is there an antidote?" Clarke's voice filled the entire drop ship. At that, my eyes darted to the blankets covering the tin container. I rushed over to the spot it was sitting at and grabbed it.
"He has these," I showed Clarke the container full of vials. Bellamy shot me a look of confusion as to how I knew about those.
"Which one will save him?" I begged for the grounder to answer my question. His face never changed, he had no intention of ever telling us. Bellamy went to cut a seat belt loose and made his way back over to the grounder.
"Bellamy no!" Octavia lunged at him, trying to stop what he was going to do.
"If he won't tell us which one it is, Finn will die. Do you want that?" He questioned, his eyes bouncing between her, me and Clarke.
"Do it," Clarke's shaky voice gave the right away. Octavia tried to pounce again, but Miller grabbed her and pulled her back. As she struggled against him, I walked up to Miller and slapped him in the face.
"Don't touch her," I said, feeling my eyebrows furrow. To my surprise, he let her go and she came over to stand at the other side of my body. Bellamy raised the seat belt up, getting ready to start lashing the man.
I watched the first hit, but had to turn away after. It was horrible to see Bellamy doing this to someone. Octavia watched it all though, she's always been stronger than me in that way.
This has been going on for too long and we made zero progress, "this isn't going to work." Bellamy looked at me when I said this, not knowing what else he could do. In one quick movement, Octavia grabbed the poisoned knife off the floor and knelt down in front of the beaten man.
"Octavia stop!" Bellamy's voice boomed. She swiftly cut into her skin with the blade, my eyes went wide in terror.
"Which one?" She asked with a harsh, pleading voice. The grounder's face was so swollen, I don't think he could see out of his right eye. Octavia continued to hold up each vial one by one until he finally nodded. I didn't know how she felt she could trust him that much. Clarke quickly snatched it out of her hands and went back down the ladder.
