Once again, everyone crowded around the entrance to the unique castle building. The air felt different this time around, the seriousness of this made me really pay attention to what was going on around me. Although it was a celebration, some ceremony was happening so obviously the people of Sanctum saw this as extremely important.

I leaned over to Bellamy as everyone was settling into their spots. "Has anyone really told you what this is?" I kept my voice as quiet as possible.

Bellamy shrugged his shoulders when he looked over to me, "a ceremony. Supposedly sacred."

"Well, I know that," I held back a laugh. "I meant like what are they doing with Delilah? What's the point of it?"

"I don't know," Bellamy answered honestly as he started to think about it. I turned my attention back to the front of the crowd. Jordan and Delilah were holding hands as they made their way to the front. I looked to Russell, he was standing before the massive designed doors with the other Primes beside him. The only thing bringing light to our faces were the flaming torches lit ahead of us.

I watched carefully as Delilah gave Jordan a gentle smile as she detached her hand from his. She walked forward towards Russell, gracefully grabbing the sides of her dress and curtsied.

"Rise," Russell relieved her from the bow. "Delilah Janice Workman, you have been chosen, like each of us, to receive the great miracle of the Sanctum. Do you accept this honor?"

"Yes, holiness, I do," Delilah confirmed.

"Very well," Russell spoke. "Then come forward and be so named."

Russell, the other Primes and the guards stepped aside, opening up a pathway for Delilah to walk through to the door. She slowly began forward, but she seemed hesitant. I could tell by her demeanor, her walk wasn't confident.

Delilah ended up stopping her walk, she turned around and ran back to Jordan. They clashed into a kiss, the entire crowd was verbally swooning over the moment. I knew exactly what kind of kiss that was, she was saying goodbye, but I had no idea as to why. She whispered something to him that no one other than Jordan could hear before turning around and marching in through the doors with the Primes following.

It was a waiting game now, I kept my eyes on Jordan. He seemed really nervous, his pacing snitched on him. Several minutes passed, I didn't really know for certain how long we actually waited for. I looked around to see if any of our other friends were around, but I only saw Bellamy and Jordan.

Finally, the doors opened back up and the Primes walked out with smiles on their faces. When Russell stepped out, he once again took on the microphone. "It is my great honor to present Priya, seventh of her line."

Delilah walked back out now, the entire crowd once again spoke simultaneously.

"Hallowed be her name," the people of Sanctum all recited.

Russell kept speaking, but I started to care less and less about what came out of his mouth. This place was really nice, but also really odd. They wanted us to follow their traditions so bad, yet never gave us a full explanation with what this was all about.

I don't know how long I was zoned out for when Bellamy nudged me. He told me I have a really obvious thinking face once, so I could never hide when I zoned out.

"Look," Bellamy pointed his finger into the sky above the pond. I turned my gaze to follow the line of sight his finger gave. All the lanterns we saw being made earlier were rising, a small flame lifted them further from us. It was mesmerizing to watch.

Bellamy had wrapped his arm around my lower back. The only thing I let myself think in this moment was how comfortable this felt. I needed to let myself enjoy this moment no matter how small it may seem. When I turned my head back to look at Bellamy, the enjoyment came to me easily. The soft glow of the lanterns illuminating his calm face gave me a sense of peace I didn't realize I was missing.

After a few minutes, I felt a tickle in my ear from Bellamy's whispering voice, "how about we finish that deal we made earlier."

I looked to his face and grinned when I saw the slight smirk that he had. I gave him no verbal answer, but I did grab his hand to lead him back to our room. Our fast walking turned into a jog once we entered out building and went up the stairs. Bellamy couldn't hold himself back anymore, he was kissing my neck as I got the door to our room open.

Once he shut the door, I turned myself around and placed my panting lips onto his. It was immediately hot and heavy, his breathing picked up as his mouth consumed my own. My steps stumbled backwards as we both frantically ripped our clothing off. The back of my thighs hit the bed with enough force for me to land on my back on top of the mattress, but that didn't stop Bellamy from moving his lips.

His hands found themselves holding onto my hips as he hoisted me up further on the bed, making it so I was laying down comfortably. His bare chest was in contact with my naked skin as his body weight pinned me down.

He let out a small grunt when he pulled his mouth away from mine, "I can't get over how good you smell."

I giggled at his innocent statement that put our kissing on pause. "Sofab," I informed him, but all I was met with was a really confused glare.

"Sofab?" Bellamy's forehead crinkled from raised eyebrows.

"It's a flower they use to make their soap. They have some really bizarre plants growing out there," I stated with a soft smile.

"Know it all," Bellamy teased.

"Not yet," I tapped his chest with my pointer finger. "Give me a couple of days, then I'll know everything about their plants."

"Of course you will," his voice sounded more gentle than before. He reached his hand up to my face and trailed his fingers across my jaw line. Bellamy had that look again, like he was admiring every aspect of me. I loved when he looked at me like this, I felt so special and so beautiful.

"You look so sexy for being over a hundred years old," my voice came out a little raspy from the intimacy of this moment.

"Corny," Bellamy replied with a cocky tone.

"Horny," I whispered. This made Bellamy snort out a laugh. He silently moved his hand down my stomach and in between my thighs like he needed proof of what I just said to be true.

"Yes you are," his voice grumbled.

Being able to divulge in this type of pleasure again brought a feeling of comfort along with the enjoyment. Through all the pain and loss I've been through, I knew Bellamy would be there to make it easier for me. Another plus of having sex with him was that my mind thought of nothing but him and how good he felt. There was no thinking about what may or may not be wrong with this place. I forgot about how weird this planet was to me as soon as Bellamy laid his lips back on.
