Bellamy was once again holding my hand as the pod moved. I blocked out any noise to hopefully calm myself down. I could see the fiery heat lighting up the tip of the rocket as we started to reenter the atmosphere. All of a sudden, I jolted in my seat from the rocket doing a roll maneuver. Emori executed it perfectly.

I could now hear the computer reading to us how close we were getting. Emori deployed the landing gear as we jostled around.

"Here we go," Emori announced as we got closer.

Then we stopped, the pod got quiet except for the computer telling us, "vertical landing successful."

All of us were breathing heavily from the adrenaline.

"You did it," Harper exclaimed.

"We didn't die," Emori stated as she pulled her helmet off.

I followed her actions as Bellamy spoke, "no. No, we didn't." I looked over to him, his smile was contagious. When he saw my grinning face, he landed a kiss on it. "We're finally back."

"We celebrate when Murphy and Raven are back down too," Echo huffed out. "We don't know how many people saw us. We should go, now."

We all unbuckled and exited the ship quickly. When I stepped out, memories of landing here the first time resurfaced. The thought of Octavia stepping onto the ground for the first time made me appreciate feeling the grass beneath my feet. I couldn't stop smiling while I breathed in the air, it smelt just like I remembered.

"Come on Kota. We need to take cover," Bellamy urged me to start moving with the rest of them.

"Doesn't it smell amazing?" I took in another deep breath as we walked.

"It really does," Bellamy agreed.

"So how do we find them?" Monty asked as we continued into the forrest.

"We don't. They'll find us," Bellamy said. As if on cue, a group of people came out of the trees with weapons pointed at us.

"They already have," Echo declared.

"Get on your knees!" One of them demanded. All of us put our hands up in surrender, Bellamy pushed my figure to stand behind him.

"It's okay, we don't want to fight!" Bellamy tried to reason. "We just want to talk!"

"Stay right where you are!" The same man yelled. He spoke into a radio to let someone know of our presence.

"Four of ours are dead. It's time to even the score," a woman's voice blared back. I recognized the voice too, it was the same one as the woman in the video we watched.

"Congratulations, two of you get to live," a man stepped closer to us with his gun. That was until a spear landed in his throat. Gun shots sounded as the three other men dropped to the floor. It all happened so fast. I walked to Bellamy's side to get a better look of who helped us. It was a girl, a child. She was by herself.

"She's just a kid," Bellamy looked at me and then back to her. She was approaching us timidly.

"Kota? Bellamy?" The small girl knew our names. My eyes went wide. "Clarke knew you would come."

Did she just say Clarke? Clarke was actually alive? I felt my hands trembling at the news.

"Clarke's alive?" I heard Bellamy's voice shaking. I could see the girl nod to confirm and then she changed her gaze to look at me.

"Come!" She shouted. A few seconds later, I saw who she was talking to. I couldn't hold myself up anymore, I dropped to my knees.

"Bear?" I cried out as I saw a ball of white fluff emerge from the brush. He started to sprint to me when he heard my voice. Tears streamed down my cheeks as he got closer. He was running so fast and was so excited that when he reached me, Bear knocked me onto my back. He licked my face nonstop as he whined.

I kept petting him to make sure he was real, it felt like I was making this up. He switched his attention to Bellamy who was now kneeling next to me. He gave Bellamy kisses galore. After six years, Bear still remembered us as his family.

"We have to go, Clarke is in trouble," the young girl sounded hesitant to break up our reunion.

I sat up from the dirt, Bear was nudging my arm for attention and of course I gave it to him.

"What about the others in the bunker?" Monty asked.

"Still there," she revealed. I thought I was going to vomit from her words, Bellamy and I both stood up quickly.

"What? No, no. How can that be?" Bellamy panicked.

"I'll explain on the way," she stated as she grabbed Bellamy's arm. I looked down to Bear trotting beside me as the girl took us to the rover. All of us loaded into the back as she took the driver's seat and Bellamy took the passenger.

Bear made himself comfortable on my lap as we took off. I could not stop petting or looking at him, the night blood I used worked for him and Clarke. I've never felt so grateful in my life.

The child revealed her name was Madi and that her, Clarke and Bear had been living together here this whole time, just the three of them. The tower in Polis collapsed during the radiation wave, landing on top of the bunker door. Madi explained how there was so much rubble that it was impossible to remove it.

"We're here," Madi stated as the headlights landed on a camp. There were people standing outside. My eyes bounced around the scene outside of the windshield. Clarke was staring at us from the ground, I felt relief run through my veins.

"Kota, stay in here," Bellamy said as he turned to look at me. He knew I would want to go out if he did too. "Madi take the rover back. Nothing will happen to Clarke, I promise."

"Come out with you hands high!" Diyoza commanded. Bellamy gave Bear and I one last look.

"Don't be stupid," I whispered to him. He gave a quick nod as he opened the rover door and put his hands up as he exited.

"I'm unarmed," I could hear Bellamy say as he walked closer. I could feel my breathing quicken and my hands starting to shake again. We had no idea what we got ourselves into, this could go really bad.

I felt a cool hand grab mine and I turned to look at who it was. "Take a breath. He knows what he's doing," Echo reassured me. I looked back out the windshield to make sure she was right.

"Give me one good reason not to kill you where you stand," Diyoza threatened.

"I can give you two hundred and eighty-three. That's how many of your people are going to die if you and I can't make a deal," Bellamy warned. He held something up in his hand, it was the mug I saw on their ship. It was smart of him to bring it, proving that we went into their territory. This made Diyoza believe him.

Bellamy lifted his arm up with his fist clenched and Madi drove the rover in reverse. She jerked the rover to turn around and I launched myself to the back door. I was not leaving him there by himself. Echo grabbed my leg as I reached to turn the handle.

"What are you doing?" She stressed.

"Echo let go or I will fight you. I'm not leaving him," I sneered.

"You told him not be stupid. You're being the stupid one," she replied.

I kicked her hand off of me and opened the back door with speed. Madi was driving fast so it wasn't going to feel very good when I landed.

I jumped out of the moving vehicle and rolled when my body made contact with the ground. I looked to see Bear had leapt out after me. I forgot about how he would follow me everywhere unless I told him otherwise. I stood up and went to him to make sure he was okay. Bear just stood up and shook his body off.

"Good boy," I kissed the top of his head. "Come."

We both started to sprint back to the camp. Once we got close, I stopped behind a large tree so no one would be able to see me. I carefully scanned the area, Bellamy was no longer standing in the same spot. I couldn't see him at all.

Bear and I silently circled the outskirts of the camp. I was trying to find any hint of Bellamy, but never did even after I made a full round. He must have been in one of the shelters. I stayed patient and just watched. I knew he could pull this deal off, but I wanted to be here in case he didn't.
