Bellamy was sound asleep next to me on the bed. I watched his peaceful face as his chest rose and fell silently. I was never usually awake when he slept which is probably why I liked to watch him when I was.

I tried to fall asleep, but I knew Clarke was writing that list right now. She promised she'd write it if we were wrong about the bunker. She wasn't going to put her own name on that list unless someone did it for her and I was worried she wouldn't put Bellamy's name on it because he told her not to. I didn't care if I was on that list or not, but they needed to be. Our surviving people would need our leaders with them through this. I also felt sick at the thought of Bear burning to death without me by his side.

I quietly got myself up from the mattress, successfully not waking Bellamy up. I whispered to Bear to stay with him as I left the room. Clarke wasn't going to make the list by herself, it's too much for one person to handle.

I opened the door to her room and entered to see her sitting at a desk. She turned to see that it was me who came in. Her eyes were filled with water, she had a pen in her hand and a large piece of paper with neatly written names. I walked towards her to get a better look of the paper. There were two spots left, my name was the third one written on the list behind Octavia and Abby. I couldn't get myself to see any other names on there.

"Clarke," I whispered while switching my gaze to her face. I wish I had come in earlier so she didn't have to write this by herself. "Put down Bellamy's name. Put down your name."

She looked away from me and back to the paper. She slowly put the pen next to the number ninety-nine and neatly wrote Bellamy Blake. I held tears back while she wrote his name, they were tears of relief mixed with dread. I was going to be here with Bellamy, but not with our Bear.

She didn't continue onto number one hundred after she finished putting Bellamy down. I watched as more tears started to stream down her face.

"Put down your name," I repeated to her.

Clarke painfully shook her head as she replied, "I can't."

I lightly took the pen from her hand and did it for her. If someone deserved to stay alive, it was her. Everything she has done was for us to live, she got us this far. I set the pen down when I finished writing her full name next to the final number.

"Now you put it away and we figure out a way for us to never use it," I said softly.

"You still have hope?" Clarke genuinely asked me.

"Yes," I answered confidently. "Bellamy and I both do." I left her with that as I exited Clarke's room and went back to my own. When I reentered, Bellamy was now awake. He was sitting on the edge of the bed with his feet touching the floor. Bear was laying with his head across Bellamy's lap, he was content with the attention Bellamy was giving to him.

Bellamy stared at me like he knew what I had just went to do. I moved to sit beside him on the bed.

"You went to put my name down," he stated as I stared at Bear's sleepy face.

"Yeah," I whispered back to him. I felt insanely guilty that I couldn't do anything for this creature who has been by my side since we met. I don't know if I'd be able to handle letting him down if we did end up having to be in here.

I felt Bellamy place his lips on the side of my head as my thoughts ran. He knew what I was thinking since I could not take my eyes off of the fluffy being resting on his legs.

I invited myself to go hunting with Bellamy. He didn't want me to come since my leg was still healing, he said I should stay at camp and rest. He agreed to let me come when I said he was just embarrassed to go with me because I'm a better hunter.
