I was shaken out of my dazed state when I heard Bellamy yelling for Octavia, asking if she was alright.

"Bellamy," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. I had to tell him that he was never going to get a reply from Octavia.

He turned back to me, slight happiness showed across his face at me being fully awake. I was about to ruin that look.

"She's not here, I told her to find Lincoln," I admitted. His eyebrows furrowed at my news.

"Why the hell would you do that?" He tried to hold back his anger.

"We needed to find a cure. This is the only way I could think of," I explained. He only shook his head at me, he knew I was right about this but his concern over his sister's safety probably trumped that.

The sound of gun fire now blared through the air, making me sit up even though I didn't really have the energy to.

"Stay here," Bellamy told me as he followed Clarke out of the drop ship to address the problem. I'm not the best listener at times, so I used my limited strength to get myself up and walk out of the curtain to see what was happening.

Neither Clarke or Bellamy noticed I had followed them out since they were preoccupied with scared and rowdy people.

"There is no cure!" Octavia interrupted the fighting. Relief filled my body seeing that she was okay, even though I knew she would be. "The virus isn't used to kill."

Bellamy scoffed while pointing to the two lifeless bodies, "tell that to them."

She winced at the sight but continued on, "the virus passes through quickly, they're using it to weaken us. The grounders attack at first light."

My entire body tensed at her words. We really were at war. Clarke collapsed at this point, her body was getting too frail. Finn had scooped her up to bring her back in the ship. Now Bellamy saw that I was there as he turned around.

"Let's get back inside," he told me. Bellamy led me back to lay down where I originally did. Finn set Clarke down in the hammock that Murphy had given up for her. It made me feel better about my own sickness seeing Murphy getting over his this fast.

I hoped Bellamy wouldn't get this virus like Octavia didn't, but my hoping wasn't enough. I reached up to the side of his face where blood flowed out of his ear.

"You're sick," I told him, but he didn't seem fazed by it until he started coughing. His sleeve he had coughed into was splattered red which made me internally panic a bit.

I got up quickly from my spot so he could take it, "lay down Bellamy."

"No, you should still rest," he rejected.

"Please don't fight me on this. I'm already feeling better," I slightly lied. I was feeling better but I still felt horrible, I just knew he would need it more than me within the next hour.

"We're screwed if the grounders are going to attack us soon," Murphy told all of us. Clarke had passed out while I tried to get Bellamy to lay down. There was a few seconds of silence before Finn spoke up.

"We just need to slow them down until this passes," he said and looked over to me.

"How do we do that?" I asked, knowing he had an idea brewing.

"Blowing up that bridge," Finn stated. It was a really good idea actually, it wouldn't stop the war but it would give us time to get back on our feet.

"Find Raven," I said to him. He rushed out of the drop ship as I turned back to Bellamy, his eyes were already closed.

"Here," I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned to find Murphy handing me a cup of water, I took it.

"Smart to not talk to me while he was awake," I said quietly.

"Why did you help me?" Murphy asked, wasting no time.

"It looked like karma got you for what you did to me, I wasn't going to leave you out there," I replied. He let out a small chuckle at what I had said and turned away from my glare. That was one thing me and Murphy constantly argued about in the Skybox, whether karma was real or not.

Bellamy grabbed my arm which startled me a little since I thought he was asleep.

"Someone needs to blow that bomb up, tell Jasper he needs to take the shot," he sounded so weak.

"Okay," I gave him a swift kiss on the forehead and went to find Octavia to tell her to pass the word to Jasper. When I got back to Bellamy, he was gasping as he coughed.

I frantically knelt down to his side, turning his body over causing him to release the blood he had built up in his chest.

Once he returned to laying on his back, all I could see was fear on his face. I began to wipe his face off with a clean rag, the mixture of blood and sweat going away with each swipe.

"I'm scared," his voice was so low it was almost hard to hear.

"Nothing is going to happen to you, I promise," I tried to give him a smile but I don't think it ever appeared on my face. I was scared too, this illness has already taken lives and we didn't know if our plan would actually work.

"Get some rest, I'll be right here the whole time," I reassured him while grabbing his rough hand in mine. Once his eyes closed, mine began to let the tears fall. I knew if he saw me upset, he wouldn't let himself relax and heal.

I ended up falling asleep next to Bellamy for a few hours. I was getting scared that nobody hasn't woken me during this time to tell me about Finn and Jasper. Apparently Clarke was worried at this too because she told me, once she saw me awake, to start getting everyone in the drop ship just in case.

Fortunately, I was already starting to feel back to normal and Bellamy was still sleeping. I knew if I could survive this virus, he could too.

I made my way outside to gather people up, the fresh air instantly helped me feel a bit healthier.

"You guys need to get into the drop ship," I told a group of people while approaching them.

"We thought they were blowing up the bridge?" One of the girls said back to me instead of listening.

As if right on cue, I could feel the ground shake slightly and a loud noise off in the distance.

"Never mind, we just did," I responded. I had to wake Bellamy up now, I knew he would want to know right when it was done. As I went back into the drop ship, I was glad to see Bellamy sitting up from his spot. His face returned to its normal color and no more blood dripped from his nose.

"Jasper did it," I gave him the good news as I got over to him.

"He really pulled through," Bellamy sighed while getting up to his feet.

"How are you feeling?" I questioned, he looked fine.

"Not sick," he answered with a half smile. We both made our way back out from the drop ship to wait as the group made their way back home.
