We chased after the lone grounder as quietly as possible. Bellamy spotted him as soon as he figured out that there was actually no acid fog. When we approached a cave, Bellamy pushed me to be behind him. I bent down to pick up a rock and handed it to him, I knew he was going to attack this man now.

He gave me a reassuring look right before he began to sprint to catch up behind the grounder. I followed his trail, watching him smash the rock into the back of the grounder's head. It sent the big man to the floor instantly.

"Bellamy?" A voice came from the other side of the cave. My head snapped over and relief flooded my body seeing my best friend alive.

I quickly went over to her, cutting away the twine that bound her hands together. Once she was released, both of us fell into a hug. We didn't say anything to each other, we just held gratitude in our embrace that we were both okay.

Bellamy broke us up by helping Octavia to her feet.

"How'd you find me?" She asked looking up to her brother.

"We followed him," Jasper told her, pointing to the grounder.

"Let's go before he wakes up," I said, knowing that we needed to get home now.

"He's not waking up," Bellamy said as he let go of Octavia and held his spear above the unconscious man.

"Bellamy stop, he didn't hurt me," Octavia claimed. Bellamy didn't care what she had to say, all he knew was that this man took his sister from him.

"Finn move," he demanded. Finn didn't listen and I crouched down next to him to see what got his attention. I picked up the horn attached to the mans belt.

"It's the fog horn," I said, trying to decipher what the symbols carved in it meant. The man's eyes shot open, filled with rage. He knocked Finn back, the sound of a knife entering his abdomen stained my ears. I tried to reach into my pocket to grab a weapon, but the grounder was much faster than me. He shoved me onto my back, wrapping his massive hands around my throat. I couldn't scream for help, I couldn't breathe. All I could do was struggle underneath him, trying to push him away with my flailing arms.

My throat was freed from his hands as Bellamy hit him hard over the head once again. He rushed to my side as I rolled over, engaging in a fit of coughing. My breaths wheezed as I tried to replenish the air that had left my lungs.

Bellamy had his hand on my shoulder, "you're okay, it's over."

"We need to get to Clarke now!" Jasper yelled. I looked over to him and Octavia hovering over Finn, his shirt was covered in his own blood. I scrambled to get to my feet, only succeeding with Bellamy's help.

Bellamy went over to scoop up Finn, "O, you and Kota help each other walk. We need to go." Bellamy began his way out of the cave once he saw Octavia drape my arm around her shoulders. I was still struggling to breathe normally and Octavia's limping got worse as we tried to keep up with Bellamy on our way back to camp.

When we made it back, Clarke rushed out to see what was happening. Her and Raven's faces were distraught at the sight of Finn. I listened as Raven asked if Clarke could help him. Bellamy continued through the camp with Finn in his arms, he was going to set him down in the drop ship.

"I can't, I need my mom," Clarke stated stressfully.

"There's still no radio," Raven cried helplessly.

"Fix it!" Clarke ordered, making her way into the drop ship after Finn. I brought my arm down back to my side from Octavia's shoulders.

I turned to her, just happy that she was back.

"What happened to you?" I asked her, curious about her time away.

"I went after Bellamy the other day because I knew he was going after the ship that came down. On my way back I fell into a ravine, sliced my leg open. That grounder helped me Kota," she explained.

"I believe you," I assured her. She knew I always believed her, I could tell she wished it was her brother saying that to her and not me.

"Your neck is bruised pretty bad," she pointed out. I reached my hand up to it, feeling subtle pain from the pressure of my touch.

"At least it wasn't a knife," I commented. We both looked over to the man approaching us, his features exposed how mad he was.

"Why were you defending him?" Bellamy shot at Octavia.

"He saved my life," Octavia spat back.

"No, I saved your life!" Bellamy corrected. "Who knows what he would've done to you if we didn't get there."

I watched Bellamy closely as I spoke, "Bellamy just listen to what-"

He cut me off, "stay out of this Kota! They killed three of us today. Maybe four with what he did to Finn. He strangled her!"

He kept his heated stare on his sister and she looked to me with sorry eyes. I grew really uncomfortable being in the middle of this. I wasn't going to put myself in a position where I had to choose a side, because I wouldn't be able to.

"Stop blaming me for your mistakes!" Octavia raged at her brother. This is when I decided to remove myself, this was between the two of them. I backed away from their yelling and went into the drop ship, Clarke was going to need help with Finn.
