I watched as people were being put into pods, Bellamy and Bear were watching with me. I was kind of scared to go to sleep for ten years, mostly because I didn't want nightmares to haunt me the whole time. My eyes landed on Octavia who was laying down in one of the pods.

I turned to look at Bellamy, "give me a second."

He nodded to me and watched as I walked towards his sister. When I got to her side, she looked over to me. Neither of us spoke just yet, we just gazed at each other. I ended up reaching my hand out to hold her's, she took it without hesitation.

"Do you think you'll ever be able to forgive me?" Octavia asked softly.

"I do forgive you," I answered truthfully. "I love you, you're my family."

I could tell she wasn't expecting that response from me. "I love you too," she replied to me. I let go of her hand and turned around to see that Bellamy was watching us converse. I hated Octavia for what she's done, but I'd never be able to hate her forever. I knew what made her act in the way she did. If my forgiveness could help her find peace with herself even a little bit, I wanted to give it to her. I missed my best friend.

I noticed Bellamy go over to Octavia as I left, he wanted to be the one to send her to sleep.

I walked over to Monty, Bear was following me. He was working on one of the pod screens to hopefully alter the settings for Bear. I was stressed that it wouldn't be possible.

"Any luck?" I got his attention away from the screen.

He sighed as he looked to me, "not yet, I'll keep working on it though."

"Thank you Monty," I appreciated that he was doing this for us. "Don't feel obligated to stay out of cryo because of this. It not something for you to worry about."

If he couldn't get Bear into cryosleep, I don't know if I'd be able to get myself in. Bear was my dog, he was my responsibility. Monty looked at me with an expression I didn't really like, he was hiding something.

"Tell me," I exposed that I could read him.

"I'm... not going into cryo," he revealed. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I'm guessing Harper isn't either then," I said back to him. He gave me a small nod to confirm what I said was true.

"I'll do everything I can for Bear," Monty assured me. I pulled Monty in for a hug as a thank you, next time I see him will be ten years later. It won't feel like that to me, but for him it will.

"You always liked space," I said as I pulled away from him. "I understand why you want to stay awake. It will be peaceful."

"I knew you would get it," he gave me a small smile.

"Give Harper a hug for me," I told him and Monty agreed to.

I felt a hand land on my shoulder and turned to see that it was Bellamy. He also wanted to know if Monty fixed the pod for Bear.

"I'm close to getting it, I'll put him in once I'm done," Monty told Bellamy. I could tell it was a lie because if it wasn't, he would have told me initially that he was close to figuring it out. Monty didn't want Bellamy to worry about it though.

"Thanks Monty. It really means a lot," Bellamy said and turned to me after. "Ready?"

I nodded my head and looked to the empty pod beside me. There were two pods stacked on top of each other on both walls. Bellamy helped me climb up to the top one, he was supposed to go in the one underneath me. Once I laid down, I looked back over to Bellamy who was standing right beside me. He crouched down and came back up with another being. Bear was panting as Bellamy held him in his arms.
