"Spencer" Harry whispered.

"Shh" she shook her head, eyes shut.

"Wake up."

"No" she turned around, her back to him.

She heard him walk around the bed.

"Do you know what day it is?"

"Harry- we stayed up until 3am last night playing that dumb game, let me sleep" she replied.

"It's April 15th" he answered his own question. "Can you wake up for three minutes?"

"Is the house on fire?"

"No."

"Then no" she answered.

Harry poked her shoulder, "hey!" Spencer groaned, opening her eyes.

"Happy birthday" he smiled, holding a cupcake in his hand. A single candle was lit. "Make a wish."

"Harry" she smiled, sitting up. "You shouldn't have."

He handed off the cupcake, "I know you don't like it when people sing, so I won't."

She chuckled, "thank you."

She closed her eyes and made a wish, then blew the candle out.

She split the cupcake in half, giving part to him.

He shook his head, "it's yours."

"Yeah and I want you to have some" she held it up. "Take it" she smiled.

He stared at her hand.

"Not getting any younger here" she joked.

Reluctantly, he took it.

"You excited for the party?" he asked.

She shrugged, "I'm mostly doing it for Andrew, he's a planner."

"I heard someone special is coming."

"Who?" she raised her eyebrows.

His eyes widened, "you don't know."

Spencer chuckled, "of course I know Harry, I invited him."

"So is he your boyfriend" he sat beside her.

"No" she answered. "But he isn't exactly just my friend."

"You kiss and stuff" he scrunched his nose.

"On occasion" she laughed. "One day you will understand."

He scrunched his nose, "you keep saying that and I don't think that day is coming soon."

"Give it time, you can't force it" she chuckled. "Where'd you get these?"

"Andrew got them at the bakery" he answered. "Can I go visit?"

"For sure" she nodded. "Maybe when we're out shopping for your things."

"We don't need to do that today, you know? It's your birthday."

"It's just another day to me" she shook her head. "I don't mind it."

"Why?"

"I don't know... I guess, well it never really matter you know?"

"Your birth matters" he replied.

She took a deep breath, "thanks Harry" she smiled. "Can we go back to bed?"

He chuckled, "sure."

"Do you want blackout curtains?" she asked.
