The sun's light turned a little friendly on the skin. It's not that hot anymore, compare to the heat we've dealt with earlier when the event was just about to start. I already feel the exhaustion crawling up my legs.

"I'm back." Luke says with a sandwich on his hand.

"Oh, hey.."

"Here." He says as he handed me the bread with a ham filling, wrapped in a plastic wrapper.

"That's.. sweet of you. Thank you.." I said, finding myself coming back to peace.

"You're welcome." He clears his throat, "You okay? You look like you just fought with someone when I was walking towards you."

"Yeah, I'm–I'm fine. It's just.. the transferee.. he.. we got into an argument.."

"Really?" He leans close, like a good friend, ready to lend his ears to listen, "About what?"

"Well.. I put him on the last challenge and he's been clueless all this time."

"What challenge?"

"The dance thingy. I don't wanna repeat the dance words, it just sounds funny it would make this conversation a little comedic."

"Isn't that a good idea?"

"No.. not really.."

"Do you want me to do something about it?"

I bite my lip, "Well.. it might be a little embarrassing."

"Embarrassing?"

"Yeah. I mean, I put his name on that category and now he got so mad and you will take it for the sake of—"

"It's cool. I dance. Don't worry. So.. want me to do something 'bout it?"

"Can you?"

"Of course." He says, "But of course that has one, you know..? Condition."

"Condition?!"

He chuckles, "Yeah. You look cute when you do that."

My heart flutters, but am I dreaming? My crush is talking to me and telling me things I wanted to hear from him a long time ago.

"What condition?" I ask, trying to play it cool.

"Go out with me."

Every word echoes repeatedly. The way he said it, low and sexy. His blue eyes makes me shiver.

"Go out wi–with you?"

"Yeah."

"O–Okay. I guess?"

"Cool. You free this Saturday?"

God. If only I could cancel everything for that day. Tippy wants to watch a movie with me and I still have to tour Shawn the same day.

"Oh, I–I have something to do this Saturday."

"Ah. What about Sunday?"

I suckle my lips in, "Okay, Sunday.." I said with a slight nod.

"It is set then? Sunday."

I nod, "Sunday.."

"I'm just gonna go tell Lori and Tippy that I'll take the challenge as the transferee's sub."
