"What'd you say?"

"Say what?"

"I heard you say something."

"I didn't."

I shrug it off. We finished eating the ice creams, except the cake and the muffins. All dropped in the fridge, I washed the forks, then head upstairs to our rooms. I threw myself on the bed with the same gray sweatshirt, pants and socks. I remember the necklace I bought. I grabbed my bag and excitedly opened the box. Getting to stare at it for a long time without Shawn around and having to hide it before he sees it.

The necklace looks so majestic. With its silver coating and long chains. I caress the metal and felt something rough. I flip the necklace and noticed some letters, I lean closer and the letters turned to words, then sentences. It was so small it's very hard to read and notice. It says 'Lost in Music.' I was so proud of myself after discovering it. He'd love the necklace as much as I do, that's for sure. I sigh, closed my eyes and put the necklace to my heart.

The next day, I wake up with the guitar pick necklace touching my lips and it put a smile on my face. I carefully pull it away and looked at it. Today's the day I will give it to him and I'm pretty excited for him to have it. I pick up the box and put it back in.

I put the box on the bed and head out. Downstairs, I prepared breakfast, he then comes and greets me good morning. I greet him back and told him to sit down to eat. His face's bright, unlike before yesterday, before I told him not to think and worry about the things bothering him.

"Where we going today?" He asks.

"It wouldn't be exciting if I told you, right?"

He nods, agreeing to the fullest.

We continued eating breakfast, then washed the plates, we then took turns to take a shower, then dressed. This time we're wearing different colored shirts but we're still looking like a real couple. We head out of the house and walked to the streets.

"Hey Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't you miss your friends?"

His brows wrinkle, "Friends? In my country?"

"Yes.."

"No, not really."

"Why?"

"My friends there are just like her, the slug. They're only my friends because they can get what they want. They're my friends not because they like me, they're my friends because I have the material things."

"That horrible. Why're people like that?"

He shrugs, "Well, if you're living in a mansion and your dad is a billionaire and you own many things, you can go anywhere, you can enter concerts and clubs and bars, and many more, anyone will pretend they like you and all that."

"Hm, well, I'm not like that."

"What'd you say?"

"I mean, I'm not friends with you because of all of those."

"I know that, May."

I nod, "Don't worry, you have friends here."
